We had a cold front come through the San Antonio area last night. Temps are way down with the current temp being 59*. Sunny day means it will warm up soon. Laundry day and clean the rig with a few items headed to storage. Getting ready to flee the south! Have fun today and if you are driving be safe!

Good morning birdie and all... we are going to be cooling down tomorrow the cold front is coming our way as much as you can call a cold front cold in Florida...lol... waited all day for the lady to come and finish the pricing what a wasted day... I have a ton of things to do including getting lab work done... getting Pheebe's tick and flea medicine... a load up to the storage... a trip to Walmart and several other things that all require me to leave the house... consequently did not get much done yesterday.... hopefully she will show up this morning going to be 90 this afternoon so says the weather man and I don't want to be out running around that time.... two more days I am excited....B safe....donna

And the rains came and stayed...we had one dry day and it started again yesterday. The Big Muddy is expect to crest at record highs and several more roads are closed. I am walking the dogs as the grass is so high and the ticks are so bad in the fenced back yard. It was pretty chilly this morning walking in the rain at 50 degrees!!
My use of a four letter word just cost me $1500.00 and I am not happy. The work was step, in reference to the person I purchased my RV from. Apparently they don't consider step anything 'family' in IL and I had to pay full tax. but if you leave off the step they don't ask any questions.

BJ, you sure are getting hit with the rain! What a mess! Also too bad about the extra fee on the RV. Funny how they define things to work to their advantage $$$.

Sunny and up to 70 degrees today! Gonna stay home and get things done around here today (unpacking, cleaning, laundry, etc). Might take a walk down the road to meet the neighbors horses.

Last night I watched a bunch of YouTube videos on RVing for newbies, essential things needed, storage ideas, things NOT to do, etc, etc. Was interesting and entertaining! Lots of good ideas and info! I also got a book at the library explaining all the systems in an RV and another one on just the electrical system (which totally baffles me). I am totally a right-brained, visual, creative person, so technical and detailed stuff takes awhile for me to grasp.
