Good morning gals!

Feels so good knowing the old house is done finally! Now just to get thru closing on Thursday!

Lots to do around here today to get unpacked and settled in but that will be kind of fun. Good day to stay inside anyways since it is gonna be cooler, cloudy and windy again. They are talking possible snow for tomorrow night! :o

Back to work tomorrow for 6 days straight for the haircut sale. Will be exhausted and sore by the end of that!

Then, next Tuesday, I get my new camper! Yay! I will have 3 days off to work on getting that set up and start figuring out how everything works. Then start looking for a tow vehicle and get my Jeep fixed up and ready to sell. Lots to do, but all good stuff! :D

Have a great day! :)

Morning, Barbie. It's so nice to hear you talking about fun stuff. And, yes, this cold here in SD today is headed your way.

Time to get going here. Not much snow on the ground, but Peaches will enjoy our morning walk much more than me. Temps are only in the 20's today... Brrrr... Luckily the worst is today.

Barbie I am sure you know this but lily of valley is poisonous to cats. You said you potted some up from the old house to take with you, just make sure Lola can't get into them.

I had a lot of female cardinals throwing themselves against the windows and the side of my motorhome yesterday. I had had it washed the day before so it was nice and shiny. They also were pecking at my hubcaps. I am parked right next to some low trees and tall bushes, so there were reflections that must have been attractive. I almost decided to move sites today, but decided to try scaring them away by taping some purple ribbon on various places where it would blow in the wind. That seems to have helped, but I can see I need more ribbon. Also, they are still trying for the small window on the side of my Class C overhang, so I maybe can use a grabber to get something up there.

And I mean they were doing this constantly yesterday to the point where I was afraid they would hurt themselves. I can see the birds sitting on the low tree branches right now considering where to try to land so I have to go out and fix the top window. This is good because it means they are avoiding the lower windows! :D

Anyway, sun is coming out here, so it will be a cool, but nice, day. Probably going for a bike ride, but tried yesterday and about froze to death.
