It's a Spring Wednesday!

Everyone must be out and about today, since I am the first poster! Even though it looks a little cloudy and might be drizzly today, it is definitely spring in Michigan. I seem to be the only live person at my end of the campground, which is just the way I like it. No water here, however, so I have to go out to my niece's house this morning and fill up from her hose. All they have until next week here is a hand pump, which will not fill my tanks! Also am almost out of propane, so that is on my schedule today.

I have schoolwork to do, but I am trying to clean out drawers and toss what I have not been using the past couple of years. It is so easy to keep accumulating, but weight restrictions mean I need to also keep pruning and tossing.

Have a good day, everyone.

Good morning Judy and everyone!

Gotta make hay while the sun shines today! Gonna be stormy this afternoon and I need to make a couple runs to the new place before then. I am pulling up the carpet (not attached) in my bedroom here and bringing it to the new house for my room there since there is no carpeting there (basement concrete).

My coworker bailed on taking all the furniture the renter left behind but I found someone who wants most of it and is coming over tonight to get it.

Am hoping to be mostly moved into the new place by tomorrow night and then just have some last minute things to get on Sunday. Closing isn't until next Thursday but we want to get it done early so we can relax a little beforehand.

I think I will schedule an hour massage for next week too. Will need it after all this moving, with sore muscles and bruises from banging myself into things  . And next Thursday is the beginning of a 5 day haircut sale which is always very taxing on my shoulders, knees and feet, so a massage before then will help keep me going thru that also. There is a hot tub at the new place but isn't working right now. Hopefully will get fixed soon!!

The camper will be delivered on May 2nd. Then I can start looking for a new tow vehicle and take my time to find the right one. Have already gone thru Camping World's webpage and putting things on my "wish list" on there! Once I see what I actually need for the camper, I can order it later.

I better get moving here...! Have a good one!

Good morning
I got the new water inlet put in yesterday on the fifthwheel, it was very
easy. However, when I went to turn the water water on , the pipe broke
coming out of the ground. Had to call the park office for repair. They shut
the whole park off to put a plug in and repair today. Good thing I had plenty
of water in my tank for flushing and washing.
The saga continues with Bill and his motorhome. I swear, if the guy didn't
have bad luck, he'd have no luck at all. On his way out to Oklahoma, he broke
down in Van Horn Tx. A repair place put in a new starter, 3 days later he was
back on the road. Now on his return yesterday, he got just outside Ft Worth
and apparently the oil pump went out. I do feel bad for him but I also have to
chuckle because I kept telling him to get the check engine light diagnosed. The
at Genes RV repair (charged the ac) said the engine stuff was beyond his capabilities
but said one of the cylinders was misfiring and recommended he take it to a mechanic.
Some men can be so stubborn!! (or stupid)
Picked up a little 1gal shop vac at WalMart yesterday, its small and fits in a storage
bin quite nicely. At camping world , of course I picked up a few misc items, both
necessary, a good tire gauge for big tires and one if those digital battery minder things.
It tells me exactly what the amps are charged on a battery with a digital read out. It
will work for the engine battery or the house batteries.
About time to get busy, y'all have a great day, be safe.
