Tuesday Afternoon Tea

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Tuesday Afternoon Tea

Postby Colliemom » Tue Mar 07, 2017 4:05 pm

Way past time for morning coffe here, so thought I would serve afternoon tea. Can't believe that at least somebody hasn't popped in to say hi. Guess we are all busy with the day to day routines. Beautiful sunny late morning and afternoon here today, temp about 50. Snow is gone from open areas, but still in woods and areas where it drifted. I did some raking in the yard today as the area I keep cleared for the dogs asks open. So was able to rake about 90% of it and clean up from the winter. Also did some measuring and put up some markers to expand the fence later. Set 3 posts in place that I happened to have, took two boxes and couple other items up to Salvation Army store now that I think I am done purging. Got my truck washed, picked up do kind bible, took the dogs for a nice walk, so got a lot of fresh air today.

Martha, glad you got home safely. Judy, seems you are enjoying your new campground, except for the price of course. Hope all the rest of you are doing okay. Sawcthere was some bad weather in some places last night. Hope nobody was in harm's way.

I'll have a little sugar in my tea, need it to keep busy as I wait for
my funds to hit the bank. Should be any day now. In the meantime
I've kept busy cleaning the yard of weeds and stuff. Sorting stuff
in the shed and my storage bays. It never ceases to amaze how
much we unknowingly accumulate.
Tomorrow I get my stitches out. Still can't do a hot bath or pool until
its totally closed over. Showers don't cut it, they are just too quick for
relaxing.
Off for an afternoon snack, y'all have a good afternoon.

Hi Sue! You sure keep busy there! You would be bored stiff in a condo! Not sure what "picked up do kind bible" means but sounds interesting!

Been cleaning the house some more and just had a real estate agent here to see the house. My brother and SIL are checking out 3 agents to see who we want to list the house. Two down, one to go. So far both agents are very excited about the prospects of this selling quickly and for a good price. They love the property.

My SIL brought over their new dog, Stanley. He is part golden retriever and part something else but a very sweet dog! He was transferred up to the Humane Society here from a shelter in Texas and they adopted him a month ago shortly after their older golden passed away. Stanley really wanted to meet Lola but Lola was really not interested!

Extremely windy here today! Would be nice out if it wasn't for that. The ice on our little bay is going out quickly from the wind blowing it around. Will be a very early ice-out this year for the whole lake. Average ice-out is April 15th and last year I think it went out on March 30th. Will be out sooner than that this year I am sure.

Am heading out here to deliver a dresser to a co-worker, pick up my paycheck, and get some food to eat!

Hope you all are having a good day! :D
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
