First Friday of March

Morning all,
Was nice reading all the "check in's"the other day. Glad everybody's doing okay, just busy with day to day activities. Nothing exciting going on here either. Gang at the GTG having fun. Some starting to leave now. No more GTG's till one gets planed someplace.
For those of you who are thinking of or trying to purge stuff, our local Salvation Army store has a neat idea they just came up with. Being a religious based organization, they suggested since Lent is 40 days, do a "40 Things in 40 days" idea. Each day for the 40 days, remove one item, you no longer use or haven't used for more than a year. Clothing, jewelry, or whatever and put it in a trash bag. Then at the end ne of 40 days, bring the bag to the store and donate the items. Win, win for everybody. They get donated items for he store and you get some things purged out of the house. If you don't have Salvation Army store, there it could go to Goodwill or whatever may be in your area.
Any of you fans of or watch "The Voice"? There is a young lady in this season's competition, Lauren Duski. She is the daughter of my dentist. This past Monday was the first episode and I forgot about it, as I don't watch it. But I heard she really wowed the judges. Will be watching from here on though. Have never met her, but will cheer her on.
Nothing much on agenda here today. Maybe start working on tax stuff and a little more trip planning, head up to the church later this afternoon for Lenten fish fry etc. other than getting curtains ordered for the windows, I am done with redoing inside of house. So going to wish you a nice day and move along here
