Check in day! Hope to hear from y'all. Also hope those in path of the storms/tornadoes moving across the Ohio, Tenn valleys and on east, stay safe and those in areas where they passed are okay. Winter Storm Warning in effect here for 5-8 inches of snow/ice later today. Am going to stay in and watch. We have lost a lot of snow, so this will just add a little back. 50 by Sunday again.
Finished installing cabinet and drawer knobs/handles yesterday. So donee with house stuff. Need to sit down today and order curtains/valances for last three rooms. This house only has blinds on the windows. Last owner just had old lace curtains which I pitched. Will probably look at maps too.
The gals are having a Good time at the FL GTG. Enjoying the pictures. Have a nice day everyone.

The tornadoes missed us but a the storms came in three waves so it was a long night. The dogs howled in chorus along with the storm sirens, we didn't need to worry about not hearing them. No damage except lots of limbs down but nearby towns, (about 12 miles away) hit by tornadoes. Not sure how much damage but several roads were closed in the area.
I didn't think to say rabbits

Good morning all. It's a warm morning with rain so far this morning. Warm to me anyway, 57! And tomorrow is going back to winter with some snow! This is crazy! Hope everyone is safe from the tornadoes that I'm hearing about.
I spent a good part of the afternoon yesterday on the phone with Verizon and Comcast. When it rains it pours! For some reason my data surpassed my data in just 2 days on my phone. Still haven't gotten an answer as to why and what caused it. So for now I have it turned off completely on my phone. I even went into the store and the guy upped my plan to more gbs but didn't bother to mention the charge to do it plus since I still have a month on the contract I paying more and then supposed to go down after the contract is up. I've been thinking about changing to Straight Talk but hesitant to do that. Customer Service is supposed to be really bad. But can get more for less so still considering.
Loving the photos of the gtg! Strawberry shortcake looked so good! And good to see that you all have watchers from both air and sea, Liz!
I need to run to Sam's so guess I'd better get moving and try to get home before the wind and rain storm hits later. Hope you all have a great day and travel safe.

Good Morning! And yes, I did remember to say “Rabbits” about 3:30am! Today is Bronc’s 3rd birthday and that doesn’t seem possible. They aren’t having his family birthday party until Saturday night. We bought him a new cowboy hat because the one he is wearing now is pretty dilapidated and just a little too small for his head. Ashley and Ryan requested no more toys! I usually get him Disney DVDs for Valentines, Easter and Halloween gifts and they are a hit and don’t take up floor space!
I’ve been on the road most of this week. Monday I had a doctor’s appointment in Yankton. Yesterday I went to Sioux Falls with Missy because she had to go to a pain specialist for an injection and they require a driver after it. Then we went to another hospital to see her aunt who had a stoke on Monday. It was a long day just sitting in the car, sitting in waiting rooms and hospital rooms.
My cousin has been working on our family history and he emailed me a copy of what he has to date. Quite interesting…..found out that my great aunt ran a brothel in Deadwood! Then she proceeded to married a US senator from Wyoming. Between the two of them they ended up owning huge portion of the town of Newcastle Wyoming. (We always thought we’d just find horse thieves who had been hung.) I barely remember Aunt Ethel but do remember that she was always dressed to the nines every day. Also my dad’s brother and his wife had to get married at 6:30AM because my aunt’s father refused to miss a day of work. (My sister and I have decided that explains a lot of Aunt Jean’s quirks.) Also my dad went on their honeymoon with them….that must have been awkward. My dad was the youngest of four brothers…all 7 years apart. Grandpa must have gotten the 7 year itch.
Well enough rambling for today. Have a good one and those of you at the GTG remember to post lots of pictures!

Good morning Everybody from sunny Kino Bay. Yup, I'm still here but leaving in two weeks. I'll miss my daily beach walk, but I'm looking forward to spending time in my garden and loving up my "Purrfect" kitten who is now a cat. I hope she remembers me. I'm following the gtg in Florida; maybe next year. Enjoy today Peggy

Good morning. I did remember to say "rabbits" just after midnight. I need all the luck I can get this month!
My brother is still not doing well but I guess he did open his eyes this morning but no other responses from him.
Had a friend stop by this morning and help me take the cartop carrier off my Jeep. Now I can go thru a carwash! It really needs it badly.
Had about an inch of snow overnight but it is quickly melting now. Supposed to be 50* this weekend.
Lots to do today. We have a real estate agent coming by on Saturday so I need to make this place look nice. It looks very "lived in" right now!
Will probably sneak in a nap today sometime. Didn't sleep very well last night worrying about my brother.
Am still thinking about that strawberry shortcake at Hillsborough GTG! May have to pick up some stuff to make it at home now.
Have a good day and Happy March!

Happy check in day. This is my first day reporting back to work. Please ignore all text messages from Audrey, Remi or Stuart that complain about my behavior and their feeling neglected. They were required to go out to potty in the storm this morning though I did try to find a small break in the worst of it. They were fed and then required to return to their crates. They were very wet and not happy.

Good Morning from finally sunny SoCal. I was gently reminded a while ago that I'm supposed to check in here on the first of the month..sorry I've been out of touch lately, just not a lot going on. Been busy working on the new house and that's kind of boring, spending time with the grands and just generally keeping a low profile. A bit of rv'ing ..had fun at the Q gtg but missed Miss Sandi. Happy happy that I got to see Lynn! A meal and casino trip every once in a while with my casino buddy Evie AKA Pooker. It's been to cold and rainy to do much motorcycle riding and that's kind of depressing for me. I'm hoping to load up the bike next month and head to Texas for riding with friends. The Chewmonster is toodling along, almost totally deaf now. Strangely, that seems to have improved her aggressive behavior. The Samcat is fading, he has kidney failure, not unusual in a 17yro cat. He's eating, peeing, pooping and still able to jump up on the shelf to eat and the bed to sleep. He gets a cookie laced with pot a couple of times a day and that helps his arthritis. So for now, he stays on this side of the rainbow bridge. He's kind of the last link, other than the kids, that I have with my late DH, so its pretty hard to watch him fail. Other than all of the above, life is good and no major complaints...other than the rain. I've been working on an ark. All of ya'll are welcome to share it...LOL
Hopefully I'll remember to check back in April 1st....

Good Morning. Not much going on in my end of the world either since I got back from Arizona. Was nice to connect again with my RV pals in Tucson and Quartzsite. The weather was crappy to say the least but not much we can do about that. Actually the entire time I was in Arizona 2 1/2 months there were only a few days of real warmth. And the wind just never quit. Think I went too early LOL
The weather here is COLD (by my standards 27* this morning) but sunny and warming up to 52* wow. But more snow showers coming this weekend. Come ON SPRING. Getting a little tired of being basically housebound. I am feeling a little like I need a road trip. Motorhome is winterized so that isnt an option. Thought I just might take a drive somewhere if the passes cooperate. It does not matter which direction I go I have mountain passes to go over so I am always cognizant of the weather.
Once it warms up I will have lots to do. I could be like Sue and start painting my bathroom (....we will see).

This is my last day here at Hillsborough with the GTG. I have a long drive tomorrow, so I will have to get an early start. The campground is having a pot luck. I am going to skip it, but I will stop by to say goodbye to as many of the ladies as I can find. Going to try to get some work done and get to bed early tonight so I can get an early start.
Will be in the Florida Panhandle until March 16, and then will be heading north to Michigan and Ohio. Will start heading west on May 9 and spend the next year or so out there.

Answering roll call. My alarm went off this morning; Peaches looked at me; I said "5 more minutes... Oops... RABBITS!" But I don't think that counts.
We're getting weird guests this week. A couple this morning wanted the easiest site to get into. They were given that... And they complained it wasn't private enough. That pretty much can negate being the easiest site to get into. They needed help on the easy site... I'm on break now, not sure if they moved or not. Then we have a tent camper, my age or older, who sits in his car blasting music. He think no one can hear... I talked to him last night and he's says it's not enjoyable if he turns it down. Understand, I can hear it, with my bad hearing, in my rig with door and Windows closed. So he shut it off. But did it again at 8:30 this morning. I could go on and on.
Karen, it'll be mid to upper 70's and into the 80's for the foreseeable future.
Barbie, I keep your brother in my thoughts.
I see on the forum it would be Pattyk's birthday. She is missed!

I forgot that it's a new month. Having too much fun at the GTG. It's nice to put a face to the names I have known so long.
The strawberry short cake was so good. I got mine to go so I wouldn't have to eat it all there so have been eating on it for 2 days.
Sharon, sorry to hear Samcat is failing. I'm not much on taking medicine but if I ever get sick I'm going to come let you doctor me.
Pat, it's hard to believe that Bronc is already 3. It seems like he was just a baby. I had an Aunt Ether that was a dresser too. She never owned a pair of jeans and was not too happy with some of my outfits when I would visit. I knew if I wanted to go with her I better clean up.
The weather has been so nice for our GTG. Not too hot and a little cool at night.
Martha
