Mid February Monday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Mid February Monday

Good Morning,

Sitting here killing time till I head into town to get some blood work done and then off to the dentist for checkup/cleaning etc., few errands and then home to clear yesterday's snow from the drive etc.

Cheryl, good to see your post yesterday, had been thinking about you. See you took the plunge and got your new home on wheels. You are going to love that one, I know. And yes, I do sit down  But, seriously, I like to be busy and am getting my new house the way I want it. Spring is coming and the nice thought is, inside will be all done.

Barbie, keep safe on your trip back north. Hope you are feeling better too. Catherine, nice to hear from you too. Am watching the new on the big spillway break up north there in CA. Don't envy those in the path of all that water. O'Sharon, Carolb, hope this latest storm missed your areas.

Time to move along here and quit rambling. Hope you all have a good day today.

Good morning Sue and all... I am now back from Hardee Lakes what a great week I had only problem I had was that my foot hurt and kept me from hiking even around the lake and the other thing was Pheebe eating a plastic Ziploc bag.... what a doggy... Anita is going to be in Wickham Park Campground so I'll be spending a little time with her for a couple of days and I have to get back at the estate stuff... I'm going to go this week and check on an estate sale when I can have one... when I went to empty my tanks at Hardee Lakes black tank emptied... half way through the great tank the macerator stopped so now I going to have that fixed... I think I figured out what the noise was when I would stop I would hear this clanking clunking type noise and it seemed to go with the momentum of stopping you know back and forth something in there it was under the driver side toward the back but while I was at Hardee Lakes I used all the water out of that front freshwater tank and now on the way back I don't have that noise anymore I think it was the water clanking around back and forth as I put on my brakes and come to a stop what a relief that is... now to the macerator Anita thought maybe it could be a fuse so hopefully I can check that out myself.... after Phoebe ate the part of the plastic bag and the zip plastic things on the bag she threw up in the middle of the night and are all came up thank goodness....B safe today...donna

Mornin' Sue, Donna & all that follow ~~~

Sorry about your foot Donna, and baaadd Pheebe! Luckily (kind of) that she got sick. Better that than a surgery or the dreaded, keep looking for it way. Barbie, stay safe driving, slow down & reroute if necessary. Sarah, thanks for the info on extending the pipe & tank pulls, but I doubt I'll be anywhere near Ocala anytime soon :D . I mentioned it at the dealer, and he looked at me kind of funny.

Back to the work grind. :( Geesh! I'm really out of shape, sore tummy and thighs. Only thing I can think is the hitching stuff, on Saturday, and loading final things in the truck (leveling boards, etc). Heading to the RV show on Friday, but this year, maybe I'll spend some time in the campground rows. Doubt I'll like many of them if they are geared for families. Nothing against families, I just like quiet. ;) I have a few seasonal parks to call so I can start doing that.

Not much else. Have a good day ladies & stay safe on the roads.
Cheryl

Today is my mom's birthday. She would have been 93 today. Sure miss her!

I picked up the UHaul this morning. However, I am not feeling very good right now. I may just spend the day slowly loading the trailer up and then leave tomorrow morning instead. Will see how I feel later. I don't want to push myself since I don't have to. I just feel kind of weak and dizzy this morning. Maybe just anxiety about the trip tho. I wish this move was something I was looking forward to.
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Made myself some yummy crepes this morning, and I have mostly cleaned up the kitchen. It takes a bit of effort, but then I make enough for at least two meals, so the extra batter is in the refrigerator. I also got ambitious last night just after it got dark and bakes some big spare ribs. I cut them up into two-rib chunks and cook them very slowly with just garlic on them. When they are very tender, I put individual chunks in plastic bags and freeze them. When I want ribs, I just pull out a bag and heat them up, putting on my homemade barbecue sauce. So this means I now have about four meals prepared ahead!

I must be in a baking spree because I also bought some ripe bananas and am going to make them into banana nut bread today later. Got a really stuffed refrigerator because there are no grocery stores in 40+ miles, so I made sure I had everything I might want. Rest of today is going to be lazy, other than some work on my course. Got my battery charging, so might go for a bike ride if I get enough energy.

Hillsborough River GTG is only about 10 days off, and am looking forward to that!
