Morning gals,

Not thing much doing here. Up early thanks to two furry bodies, who have since gone back to bed   Just watching news, for what it's worth and the Weather Channel. You gals out east survive the storm? We have some light snow or mix coming today I guess. I have about 3-4 inches of fresh snow out there fron yesterday, but may leave it there if a little more is coming. Nothing on agenda as far as going anyplace is concerned. Will probably finish up my kitchen project today.

OTW, how's the decision making process coming along? You decide on that trailer?

Really glad it's Friday, been a looong week.

Mailed off my paperwork for my handicapped tag this morning, makes me feel really weird. Hope it's only temporary.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning. We got hit yesterday with 9" of snow yesterday. News said 8 1/2" at 6 and by 11 they added a bit to it! Got lucky in the morning and the church guys finally came to do their frontage and bless their hearts they did my sidewalk too! Usually if I have the snowblower out I run it over the neighbor's sidewalks but not when I'm shoveling! I had a friend stop by to visit so didn't get out until later in the day and walked 2.55 miles just doing the driveway and the sidewalks again! We got a bit last night and it's been blowing too so need to go out and shovel the driveway and the part of the sidewalk that covered from the wind. It's all of 20 out there and a bit of sun so there will be some melting, I hope! There's a mess at the end of the drive from the snow plows but I'll just have to make a run at it to get the car in and out! It's ice and super heavy and I'm not going to kill myself trying to break it up! So guess that's my big chore for the day! My son took his boys up to the SP near here last night to go snowmobiling. Finally enough snow to do it! Not my idea of fun but they all enjoy it!

Judy, hope the meds are working for you. Those bites look nasty. Amazing how our bodies react to different things. And Donna, enjoying the campfire pics. And Tina, enjoyed you pics. Looks like fun. And Happy Birthday, Alice. hope you have a good day!

Ok, enough rambling and procrastination! Need to bundle up and get to my chore! Hope you all have a good day and travel safe.

Not a good start to my day. I woke up thinking I was feeling pretty good and then about a half hour later I ended up in the bathroom with either a different kind of "flu" or food poisoning. I still am not feeling like it is over yet... So much for getting anything done today.
I will have to postpone the Uhaul and my move a couple more days I think.

Back to bed for now...

Good Morning All,

Suppose to warm up to 72 today. We moved to another RV Park yesterday near Austin, Texas. Will be having propane delivered to our site here, which is great. We are settling into this full time lifestyle. While here we changed our domicile to Texas. Been visiting the grandkids and giving my son and his wife a few date nights. Off to run some errands.

Have a great day ladies!

Meds are definitely working. Bites are less red and more pink, plus shrinking. Most importantly, no longer itching. Yea!!! :D And I got a good nights sleep last night. At Camping World waiting for toilet install. I was doing so well keeping to my budget until now. Oh well. Really had no choice.

Reminder to people considering buying an RV: maintenance and repairs are more expensive than you think so you need a substantial reserve fund or an ongoing job like me. I am very thankful for that income when things break which happens pretty regularly.

Heading to Midway on Sunday. Got to make sure I have full tank of gas and weeks worth of food because no groceries or anything within long way from there.

After waiting three hours for toilet installation, they discovered they had ordered wrong toilet and right toilet would not have fit anyway. So after my ranting and raving, they finally found right toilet and are installing. will take another hour but I am furious. :x Gave them lecture on needing processes and communicating with customer and one another. Service says it was parts fault. Parts says it was service's fault. Etc. Told them no excuse for any of it.

Will be sending letter to store manager.

A few year ago coming back from a trip I decided to stop at Camping World in Hammond to see if I could get my toilet replaced. I bought a toilet they had in stock and they told me it would take 2 hours. Four hours later I am still sitting there. Camping World and Dixie Rv are in the same building and I was sitting so I could see what was going on in both places. Dixie Rv must not realize that they don't want a potential customer sitting there watching their salesmen for 4 hours. I wouldn't buy any thing from Dixie RV or Camping World again. I just barely got out of there before they closed and I was still almost 3 hours from home.

Sharon, I'm glad I don't have to deal with all that snow and ice. I guess I would have to hibernate all winter. My grandson in New Jersey had a snow day yesterday.

Another do nothing day. The weather is nice and got up to 72. I wish I could remember to buy some potting soil so I could plant some bulbs I have. I wanted to go to the grocery store but too lazy to even do that.

Years ago took my van to CW under warranty for generator repair. Little 2500 Onan that per research weighs 150 lbs. has several fittings ( electric for start and propane as fuel) and either 4 or 6 bolts holding to frame. Now granted they had to chip off soft foam insulation in a few areas, but they took over 8 hours to pull the generator and said it took 6 guys as it was over 600 lbs. then took weeks saying they were working on it and another 8 hours to reinstall. Learned later, it should have taken at most 30'to 60 min to pull or reinstall and they did not work on it but send as all RV places here do to Onan service in Sacramento. It was free under warranty but I would never go there again. Most of what I can buy at CW i can order for less on Amazon. It was speaking to Onan service who said NO way would it take over an hour to pull that little generator amd yes they knew where it was under a Sprinter LT van. Going there soon as I can as stupid Onaan quit again. CW are crooks by my definition.
