Last Friday of January

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Last Friday of January

Good Morning,

Snowy morning here. Rather have that then the damp foggy stuff. Molly loves the cold. She would much rather lay out there than in the house, till she's had enough for awhile and then comes in. Piper being one to be in more, doesn't really like that and wants her buddy in too. And she's not happy till she come in or sometimes I have to put her back out. Ah, togetherness. It's a beautiful thing.

Barb, so sorry to hear about your dad and your roommate. Prayers to you and your brothers.

We've got somebody or some bodies going around breaking glass to attempt entry in some seasonal homes next road over, but not entering except for one place. Just little stuff missing. Police think it's a young boy judging from tracks found at one place. Thoughts in our sub is that it's probably somebody from near there that is walking around and knows those places aren't occupied. Our HOA is on top of it, keeps us up to date if another one occurs etc., so we are watching our seasonal neighbors homes and people are leaving outside lights on as well. So far nothing has happened in this part of the sub.

Sounds like some of you gals in Q are leaving some green behind  Have fun. Sarah, glad you made it safely to Ocala. Hope you get to feeling better.

As for me today, I'm going to clean up my newly painted bathroom, put stuff back on walls etc., and then that will be done. Kitchen is next. Looking forward to transforming that. Also had a nice surprise yesterday. A box of FL oranges, sent by my neighbors across the road who Winter down there. So guess it's time to move along. Have a nice day everybody.

Good morning Sue and the rest who follow. I didn't sleep well last night for obvious reasons.

I guess my roommate is OK. No heart attack. Probably a severe anxiety attack or something. So that is good news!

Still waiting to hear back from the hospital on my dad. Will make a decision about that as soon I as hear from them about heading back to MN. I will fly back tho instead of riding with my brother. My other brother and my dad will need me back there right away depending on how things are going.

Funny how life can change in a hurry. Like they say, life happens when you are making other plans.

Sandi, how are you feeling? I sent you a PM, but, it didn't go through. Lyn

Thanks for asking Lyn. Been a week now. Still nauseated. Can't figure that out. Never been one with stomach issues. I did go to the doctor on Monday and she gave me med for the nausea. There is improvement slowly. So upset I missed the main week at Q. I so wanted Sheila's "scones." I hope people will be coming next year.

Not morning here anymore, but hello anyway!

Busy housekeeping day today, laundry is in, I deep cleaned the bathroom, ran the dishwasher, and now am propping my feet up with a good book.

Hope everyone has a beautiful day.

I am at my brother's house in MN tonight. Had a great cab ride with a super nice driver. Had a wonderful flight on Southwest. Had a male flight attendant who was very funny and had everyone laughing most of the trip.

My brother picked me up at the airport and we went right to the hospital. My dad is very confused but he was very happy to see me. He has very labored breathing and the doctors are saying he may not make it thru the weekend. We will go back tomorrow morning. I am glad I decided to fly back right away. I don't think my other brother really wants to see my dad since he has decided not to drive back here until next week.

There is a lot of financial mess to clean up. He is almost $900 overdrawn right now. Apparently the scammers have access to all his accounts and credit cards. I am going to help my brother cancel the cards as soon as possible.

Well, off to bed in a bit. Will keep you updated.
