Good Morning,
Well, it's Monday again. Heading toward the middle of January already. Seems like we just celebrated New Years. But my favorite month of winter is coming. I love February. Usually we have a pretty good does of sunshine in Feb. here but even if not, it's a short month and means that after that we have one month of hard winter left before spring starts to work in. Last year, winter left in March and our snow was gone by end of month. If it keeps coming like it has, it might be gone by July this year We set a new snow record for December of 79.8 inches and as of a week ago, were at 105.2 inches for the season, which has since been added to. That's 3 feet above normal for the season so far. We got snow over the weekend and have two storms coming this week. So..... I've seen it do this before and wonder if maybe we will break that 207 inch record, but then winter wimps out later. No complaints here though as it gets me out in the fresh air and I get my exercise clearing it out. There's only about 24 inches or so on the ground. Hope you gals in the south who aren't used to the cold, get warmed up. It's supposed to warm up a bit here too.
Otherwise, not much doing here. Did get some ceiling paint for the living room and plan to do that this week. Debating wall color right now. Have a full gallon left from bedroom, so might just continue on with that since I only need to buy one more rather than two if I change colors. Am already thinking toward the kitchen which will be last room I will do. Will paint spare bathroom first.
Barbie, sure am going to be glad when you can move to CA. Seems an awful of drama going on for you right now. I thought you were planning to move sooner, why thewait till February? MIckie, you and Mary sound very content where you are. And hopefully having some fun looking for that new RV yet. I'm going to a camper show this coming weekend. It's being put on by a local dealer with a lot of different brands, but will be fun to go look. Admission is by cash donation or 3 non perishable food items for the homeless shelter food pantry. Haven't decided what I am going to donate as yet. Thought about cereal, but they will probably get an overload of that.
Well, the Hardee Lake GTG is over for some of you I know you had a great time and Liz, you did a beautiful blog post on that. Really enjoyed reading it.
Well, need to do some financial book work this morning before i head to town to spend some more money Gotta stock up on perishable stuff before the storms arrive and I stay put for a few days. Also checking with some insurance agents in town on truck insurance quotes. So you all have a nice day out there. Travel safe those who will be leaving the GTG, keep warm, those in the cold areas, rest of you have a nice day.
