Morning from the snowy 45th,

Sun trying to peak out here this morning. World is a blanket of white. Definitely a White Christmas for up here. At least 6 inches of white fluff here. Nothing compared to some areas though. Will probably get out and clean it up later.

Otherwise not much dong here. Just rountine house chores. Christmas cards on agenda today. Got first one yesterday. Probably a dog walk this afternoon as well.

Barbie, certainly hope your manager lets you know what's going on. I would be a nervous wreck too. Birdie, your remark about fleece lined pants and 20 hundred sweaters made me laugh. I would be sweating like crazy if I had that many on, even in the cold weather we have. But I know you aren't used to the cold. I do need to get out and look for a new sweater though. To wear to church or things like that, not everyday.

Time to hop in the shower and get this day moving along. Have a nice day everyone :)

Good Morning,

Where is everyone? Barbie, I hope your issue is resolved soon so you don't have to worry over it. Goodness.

Donna left yesterday so we are now two. However, Liz picked up her granddaughter and we picked up Brenda and Irmi for lunch followed by a visit to Sholom Gardens.

Quite cool this morning!

Washington State grandson who will graduate in June was sworn into the Air Force Wednesday - hopes to become a firefighter. Kansas granddaughter who has Crohn's was asked if she would be willing to swallow a pill camera for her next MRI for comparison with regular MRI. My daughter who has such a memory remembered a Jetsons cartoon about such a thing!

Better get dressed and do a load of laundry!

Make it a great day.

Up really late this morning, but got more organizing done and put away the shirts that were not quite dry from doing laundry last night. I pull my t-shirts out of the dryer before they are completely dry and hang them all over the place so they do not shrink. However, it was cold and damp last night so I had to turn on my little heater this morning to finish drying them.

Getting close to semester end! :D Have 9 papers to grade today and then tomorrow will go through the short final assessment essays online, but no comments to write on those, so they go quick. Final exams grade themselves, luckily. Students get a random set of questions from a data bank, so each one gets a slightly different exam. It is open book. My friends ask me if students cheat, and my reply has always been that if they do, they don't do it very well because scores are not high!

Anyway, chilly day here and looks a bit like rain. Heading into town later today to get my prescriptions picked up and get a few groceries. I have mostly been drinking the tap water down here, but the last couple of campgrounds have had highly chlorinated water that tastes funny, so I will get a couple of big jugs of bottled water.

Barbie, I sure hope that situation gets resolved today. Nerve-ricking! Thinking good thoughts your way.

Off to a rally trial this afternoon. Should be fun!

Barbie, I hope they have gotten your situation at work sorted out. When I worked I had to handle the petty cash at several jobs and I didn't like it when other people were messing in there too. I would count the money first thing every morning and the last thing before I got off. There was one instance of someone with sticky fingers. I had an idea who it was but my boss took care of it.

Judy, it seems like your semester just started and it's almost over. It probably doesn't seem that fast to you.

It only got down to 38 last night and the sun is out today. I let CC stay in the house because it was suppose to get so cold. He is loving it, the house cats not so much. I have never seen a kitten play so hard. He found toys I forgot we even had. He is not as hyper today. I guess he wore himself out.

Anita, I have been wishing for that camera for a while.

Birdie, I hope you get to some warm weather soon. I have been trying to wear long sleeves but I almost can't stand it. We keep our house too warm.

Nothing new here. They changed the schedule so that there is either a manager or assistant manager closing each night with a stylist. I filled out the incident report on what I remember happening that night, which was nothing unusual as far as I could tell. I personally think someone came in later after we closed. I am off the hook pretty much because I don't have a key or access to the safe. Unfortunately, our manager has to pay out of pocket the amount that was stolen. She said there has been other things "missing" around there recently too.
I think it is gonna be a little uncomfortable at work for awhile with everyone wondering who the "thief" is among us.

Hope you all had a good day today!
