Hmmm. I had a first last night !! I'd just turned the light out and a rig came in way after 9 , he parked on road behind me and knocked on my door and told me he'd reserved this site the other day. There is a pink ribbon on post. Big problem is I have it until Monday!! Lucky in tossing stuff this week, for some reason I kept my receipt. They have a new guy and girl at desk in front, someone got messed up. I suggested to guy to take a site with no pink ribbon and Nick will be here today and he'll get it all straightened out. I never saw the ribbon being put on post out here or could saved the new guy from making a booboo. I was glad the fella found a site with no ribbon, as they sure were coming in last evening. There is a HUGE 5th wheel on back side of me, think its about the biggest I've seen. Good sized class C out my front door, think both neighbors have their grandchildren with them.

time to get out and take a walk and see how many are here. Last Monday I was only one !! Have a great day everyone !!

Have fun Donna, you need a break from working at the house. Sounds like a good time coming up. CArol, glad the reservation was a mistake and the other camper was able to find a spot. I''m sure it will all get straightened out. Those things happen.

I'm enjoying a leisurely morning as slept in till after 7. Need to get dressed in a bit though as have to go to neighbors house I watch and unlock door so electrician can get in to repair a defective thermostat. They have electric heat and one bathroom won't shut down. Was hot when I checked the other day. Don't want a fire from an overheated register. Then I am heading to town for paint for my guest bedroom. My den is finished, so on to that room. Ceilings is painted already, so just need to do walls and closet, rehang pictures etc., then put the bed in. Weather is getting colder as this next week comes in and looks like snow by week's end, so time to do in house projects. I have a enough of them here to keep me busy all winter. Neighbor put up my new kitchen light fixture the other day, so I have all new fixtures in the bedrooms and kitchen. All done with that.

Makes me a little crazy when my computer acts up so can't imagine what I'd do with your problems, Judy! Sue, your home will be so fresh and organized. CArol, when I looked at the Myakka campground map online, I didn't realize I was looking at an inset of the campground! Oops! we are pretty close to the water.

I went to SeaWorld Orlando - mainly for a Christmas decor fix, but I thoroughly enjoyed all of it. I must say I stayed off their extreme rides - thinking maybe that's not a good idea when by myself now. Their Christmas Tree 'show' was stunning. Will try to do a FB post later today. Then I came home to watch Washington-Colorado college playoff game. During the pre-show, at least two of the guys picked Colorado to win - they have a lot of egg on their faces this morning.

Nice to have cooler temps! Today is prepare to move day as I'll be off to join Liz and Donna at Silver Springs.

Nice to have so many check in on the first - time for Carolb to make an appearance tho!

Good morning! Just an other wonderful day in the neighborhood. Visiting with family and friends today.
Praying for a miracle when FL plays AL. That's the only way we'll win Donna, I believe it's on CBS at 3:30.
CArol, I have thought of you several times this week but just haven't been able to get over there. Hope we see you in Jan.
Sounds like it's getting cold up north. Does your fur baby enjoy the cold weather?

Helping a friend today on a remodel project. Have plenty of
my own stuff to do but this is more fun and later on will actually
include wine into the mix of work. Hahaha!

Have come upon a few glitches in my retirement, just need to
figure out the resolve to make it all work.

Good morning to all - it is 8:30 here in the campground and no one is out and about. I just got up. About 4 o'clock this morning was the mother of all thunder claps. Have never heard one so loud. Thought the whole town of Mazatlan had blown up. I'm sure it woke every one up. Then it poured - a couple of inches all over the ground. So glad it doesn't rain in Mazatlan this time of year. - Yah! just a few drizzles this morning. But very dark sky. A little cooler but think today will be humid.
Will post later about going to the beach and watching the fishermen come in yesterday.

Just to give you an idea--booted up this morning, and it would not let me enter anything in password field. Did a hard boot and opened up again, finally let me enter password. Then got to main screen and while mouse was working, it would not let me open any icons, so took three more hard reboots before I finally could click on something. Then mouse cursor jumps all over the place, so I make a lot of mistakes and have to retype stuff.

Also, last night noticed my refrigerator vanes were really badly frosted over so I got out the hair dryer and blew warm air to defrost. EXCEPT drain to outside is apparently plugged, so I sopped up a ton of water inside and on floor. Have to go out today and unclog it. Got work to do, so hope today goes better!
