Just checking in. Since I was awake at midnight it was an easy reminder to say "Rabbits!" Tired of being chilly/cold up here in Ohio. I find myself purchasing more warm layers and another pair of flannel lined jeans just to sit comfortably at the desk in the house. I won't be heading south until at least the middle of the month. Stuff to do around here and some important rig fixes that need to be taken care of. I could wait and have Tri-Am in Florida look into things but if I can get them taken care of up here I won't have to worry about what and where the dogs and I have to go while we wait. So off I go to get a few things done around here. Hope everyone finds the silver linings and good adventures hidden in this day ahead.

Good morning to All from Mazatlan. Weather here is perfect. It has finally cooled down and the humidity has dropped. Yesterday was perfect. We had lots going on yesterday, from car repairs, doctor appointment for glasses and landscaping. And lunch outside in the plaza.
For once I remembered rabbits too. It is the end of the month a good time to back up your computers. I try to remember to do it the end of every month. Has proven to be a good habit in the past.
Enjoy reading what everyone is doing. Sometimes I feel like we are just lazying through our time here, but then I think that we deserve it. Will do a blog post later about the last couple of days.
Don't work too hard and enjoy your day. Travel safe

Good morning gals. Pretty quiet here today. I am watching a 3 month old for a family friend. Haven't done this in a while. So far so good. Haha
Headed to Orlando on Saturday to visit friends from England. They are here for a short visit. Always enjoy their company. His name is Phil Collins so that always creates a few laughs. We will also see our daughter in law sing at her church program. We are blessed with two wonderful women married to our sons.
Forgot to say rabbits this morning. Oh well, there is alway next month :D

Checking in from McIntosh, where we had some gentle rain this morning. More is needed, but it can wait, as I am scheduled to have my RV detailed this afternoon and would rather not have rain then. The rain is heralding a cold front, so temps will be cooler.

I have been busy taking care of business. Thistle had his $$$vet visit and bought meds for the year, the car had service and new brakes, more $$$. Mammogram will be done tomorrow and the rest of dr. appts next week, except dermatology check which I have not scheduled yet.

I'm also trying to help my gd get enrolled at the local college, as she is now living in Ocala with her other grandmother. So that is filling up my time this week.

Today, while it's raining and I'm waiting for the RV wash/polyglow guy to come, I am emptying out my clothes cabinets and purging things I haven't worn all year. I will still be carrying too many clothes, but it should be a little better. What I don't wear or doesn't fit will be donated.

Hope everyone has a productive day.

Good Morning,

I think I said 'Rabbits' before I muttered about the early hour I woke up! November certainly went out with a lot of bad news - fires, tornadoes, another policeman killed (WA state). I thought we were having an earthquake here last evening when the rig shook. Figured out the guy next door was trying to turn his car around and ran into the trailer which is connected to the truck! I don't think he hurt anything.

Tina, we certainly have warmer weather waiting for you! Liz, your wallet is definitely lighter today! :) Vicki, sounds like a nice weekend planned.

Must get a move on! Wishing you all a wonderful day to start the new month!

Good Morning Everyone !! Dec 1st !!, This year is almost gone, think I spent most of it with repair personnel and my check book at the ready. Highlight of the year , last Spring, my friend Ginger stopped by and she and I went to Gatlinburg and had a great two days, now someone has set it on fire, horrible deed. In the fall she returned for short visit and Anita stopped by also and I got my SS ride on the twisty turny roads where I live. So I'm thinking the good more then outweighs the bad !! Now we're into all the holidays and there are great memories but sadness mixed, there will be new memories made I'm sure.

December is not really my favorite month it's a hard one for me to get through. Need to get moving around here, had rain yesterday Afternnon, not a lot but overcast this morning and want to wash my hair, so need to do it. Hope you all have a good day.

Stay Safe,
CArol

Liz, has snuck in :) oh my she's really busy, I need to be, wishing I was in McIntosh had the neatest time there one Dec. with all the holiday doings, lots of fun, probably my best Dec. Bye again !!!! Now Anita stopping my post, maybe I shouldn't post this morning

Good Morning All, Everything is fine here. Sunny and cold after the rain. Yes, November went by in a swish, it's gone! I do not like all the ads to spend $$$ during the Christmas season.
I refuse to spend on presents that no one wants or needs. I like all the Christmas lights and trees one sees in the windows and love the Christmas music. lyn

Gee, I actually remembered to say rabbits this morning! Been awhile since I've posted but since there's nothing but same thing, different day around here! But have been reading about everyone else's adventures! I do think we can finally say winter has arrived! Temps have been warmer then normal even though with the winds we've been having it feels much cooler. Thermometer says 40 but I was just out chasing my garbage can up the street, did I mention the wind :?: and it felt much colder! Time to pull out the gloves and hats! At least Lola is all covered and ready for whatever this winter brings!

Have a good day and travel safe if you are on the road.

I said rabbits sometime during the night.I hope that brings a good final month... And no, it doesn't seem possibly that a month from now we'll be welcoming in a new year.

I'm meeting with Ginger in a bit. We're going to head to Tombstone for a visit. I suggested a late start so it can warm up a tad.

Good morning
I remembered rabbits! I'm totally amazed.
I hate to complain, but it certainly is cold and I'm
just not used to this.
Y'all have a great day and be safe.

Does it count if you say rabbits before you go to bed, just after midnight?

Anyway, I have a teeny tiny bity of data here at Midway, but enjoying my walks and the birds, etc. There are three delinquent crows around that were hopping around on my roof, then I realized they were drinking the water from the little trough where the condensation drips off the AC> Course all of the water here in the Everglades is perfectly clean and fresh, so it is not like they are dying of thirst in the desert. If anyone is interested, I posted some photos of this campground on my blog.

Going to make some pasties today and also drive down to the Oasis Visitor center to get better cell service and stronger internet.

Good morning gals! Yes, Judy, it does count if you say "rabbits" right after midnight. That is what I did before I fell asleep!

Seems strange to be December 1st and not see snow outside! Altho I don't think there is any snow back home right now either. My roommate turned the heat on last night so was very comfy overnight.

Tomorrow is payday so I might have a little extra money after paying bills, to go do something fun! I have been staying home lately to save on gas too. Need to get back out and explore the area some more. Perfect hiking weather for sure!

Ava, I have Sunday off if you want to go look for the horses?

Things are slow at work now after Thanksgiving but should pick up again in a week or two for Christmas.

Hoping you all have a good day! :D

Checking in from beautiful Kino Bay. Life is walking on the beach, happy hour with everybody and then out to a little Mexican restaurant for seafood. Life is good. Enjoy today. Peggy
