Morning Beth, Alice and all,
It was a beautiful sunrise in TX this morning Beth. Thanks for posting it. The sun is shining here and we are having some really nice weather. Alice, you gave me a laugh remarking about chilly mornings at 59, when we are lucky to make that for a high for the day. This week excepted. Lows in are upper 30's-low 40's.
Am waiting for the carpet installer to get here. Was supposed to be roughly between 9 and 9:30, but so far ho show. But I know they run late sometimes too. So will wait patiently. New carpet going down on basement steps and new vinyl just inside the front door. That way can come and go without tracking up the carpeting. Not that the carpet in this house needs replacing anyway. But not on this years budget. Need to make a trip to town as forgot to get dry dog food yesterday and can't have that. Also need oil to mix another gallon of gas for leaf blower. Think I will be doing the last of the blowing for this year. I lost count of how many times I have done it, but I like to get after them as they come down rather than leave them till they are all down. Never know what weather is going to do and makes it easier in smaller amounts than one big mess.
So other than that, not much doing around here right now. Just enjoying the above average temps and sunshine. Hope you all have a nice day out there.

The Pottery man brought the rig back yesterday from his once a year "borrowing the rig opportunity" and casually mentioned that the electricity and generator doesn't appear to be working though it had for him on Sat. From what I can tell and conversations with Thor tech line apparently the transfer switch has gone bad in some way. I was able to find a small local RV repair shop and got it in at 8AM this morning so that I can pick it up this afternoon and hit the road tomorrow morning. Am hoping that it all works out well. It would be wonderful to have discovered a reliable shop within 20 minutes of home. It isn't always possible to drive to Tri Am in FL and Sonny from my old trusted shop here in Ohio finally retired. Today will be a waiting game. Can't even load the last minute items because their is nothing to load them into.
I know that I could drive the dogs and equipment down to the show and stay in a motel but what fun would that be?

Good morning
We've got another beautiful weather day here also with another cool down starting tomorrow. Still need rain.
Going for 2nd acupuncture treatment today then to allergy clinic for weekly shots.
Not much else going on here. Magic did get her annual service done, no problems found. Need to get new tag this week.
Tina - hope you have an easy fix and reliable shop nearby.

Good Morning, it is a lovely cool morning here. The leaves haven't had much color this fall and things look a bit drab. I guess it is the dry weather.
I've been reading about so many of you raking leaves, we just have ours mulched. Supposed to be very good for having better grass in the spring. They do it a few times during the fall as they mow the grass and seems to work. I would rather have them all sucked up, especially, in the back as dogs track in tiny pieces, but it is nice not to have bare spots in the yard during the summer like we had when leaves were raked. We have a LOT of trees, at least 15 in front and on one side. We also have an extra lot with a huge American Beech and several Dogwood, Walnut, Oak,Maple and Hickory. The squirrels get all the nuts and also the pears from in back. It is getting harder to find people to help with the outside work.
Guess I need to get ready for yoga. It is hard to adjust to this new time!

Good Morning All, no extra hour for me as Casey "forgot" to turn her clock back! Am now out and about at 4:15 AM....gads that is early!!!
Nice little dinner party last night with both daughters, grandson and great grand daughter. They all went swimming and played in the pool before dinner. I am so glad that the B@#$% is out of the family. Everyone was so happy last night.
Beautiful sunrise Beth.

Heading down to Tucson soon for the day. Meeting an old friend for lunch and then check out the area a little.
I am loving the cooler nights having my window open! Sleep so much better!
Still having issues with my arm and not getting better. It is starting to affect me at work now. May have to bite the bullet and get it checked out. So far, nothing I have done for it has helped. I think it is related somehow to my old shoulder injury.
Have a great day!

Morning! Returned my rental car today and now am buckling down to work. On Saturday I walked on Stuart, FL, boardwalk and around the old town, and then yesterday took a 1+ mile nature walk at the Florida Oceanographic place. My back and legs were really tired last night because that is a lot for me.
Today, I need to finish some papers--what else??? But with three classes, that is almost a full-time job.
