Gmorning all
Barbie, good luck at your first day of work! You'll get through your first day jitters just fine, I'm sure:) Velda, glad to hear you had a wonderful reunion weekend--nice that some of the "old places" are still around. Always makes "going back" a real trip into the past:)
We're in a cold spell here through the rest of the week. Did some outside work, but am mostly working inside. Forgot to mention that we didn't get much of a "hard freeze" last week, just a lot of rain & wind. Many of my flowers are still hanging in there:) If it's not too windy today, I'll bundle up & try some more yard work. I have only one maple tree, & it has yet to drop many leaves, so haven't had to rake yet. Grass could use one more good mowing, & then just wait for snow. Yikes, did I say snow?
Did a partial self-winterization of HarBor yesterday--need help from bro to get the plug/anode rod out to empty water heater. Also taking him to rv dealer to have house battery cable fixed--found battery not working, & it's a corroded broken cable. Never thought to check that, but bro says I need to put it on my "list" of things to check regularly--he says to clean with vinegar at the first sign of corrosion. Simple enough, right?
Been waking far too early lately, but that's the beauty of retirement, always time for naps:)
Y'all have a great day & be safe always
