Very cool Thursday

Good morning everyone ...I must say it is a beautiful wonderful cool morning I can actually feel the air is cool and not muggy so I would say it is officially fall here in Florida... makes me happy.. I'm getting ready this week to leave on Sunday for a few days at Lake Kissimmee state park with Margie and her fur babies it'll be a nice getaway from all the packing and purging and storing that I'm still doing ...you would think after getting rid of one whole household last year that I wouldn't have so much junk but I do where does it come from & why do I have it.. I'm in the craft room right now and that is kind of a relief to be able to work on it because believe me it is a big mess it also has all my stuff from my house in it that I wanted to keep some family heirlooms and stuff like that anyway that's what I'm doing that's what it's like here cool cool cool... have a good one and & B safe...donna

The sun is coming up here in Texas. Time to get myself going. Enjoy, where ever you are, whatever you're doing.

Good morning all, I finally got to see my new Great GD yesterday. She had run a fever right after they brought her home from the hospital and had to go back in for a couple of days. She is home now and doing quite well. The GS and wife looked so tired when I was there I did not stay long.
Barbie, you are getting in some first class sight-seeing in your new state! It is quite pretty, isn't it!
I have voted! If you have heard anything about the CA ballot, it is a horror! I did spend lots of time studying all the propositions...hoping I have voted intelligently!!! Lots of people at the registers office voting early. Now I do not have to pay any attention to the crap that comes in the mail.
Have a nice day all, lyn

Didn't sleep good last night. Woke up at 2am and my mind started racing. Couldn't shut it off. Am heading to Sedona shortly...
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Late, as usual, but here. I got up early (for me) and went to Crane Point, which is a nature preserve and home of the Crane family--no actual cranes here and never were! Took a tour on a golf cart and saw a lot of interesting things, especially HUGE spider!! The tour lady called it a golden orb, but I can only find a golden silk orb-weaver, so it must be the same thing.

Also did 10 days of laundry today. Still need to fold and put stuff away, but at least everything is clean.

I am in Curry Hammock State Park now, and I think I like it better than Bahia Honda because it is much quieter. One disappointment is the lack of an ocean view because the shrubbery has grown since photos were put online, But at least I have a peek from a back window and am only a few steps away from the beach. Will see how I like Long Key SP in four days. I am pretty sure that site will have a real ocean view! I have been watching a couple of green iguanas but only from my window so no photos yet.
