Mornin' ladies ~~~

Fall today at 9:21 AM Central but is still going to feel like summer for another day or two. Finally getting to camp this weekend, leaving tomorrow. I plan on doing nothing except sitting by a river and watching the world go buy. Gives me a day or 2 to get Colt ready (tires, battery, etc), and that was done last Sunday. Plus to make sure I know what I'm doing (again) for Wisconsin in October.

Have a good day ladies and stay safe on the roads.

Morning Cheryl and all,

Glad you are getting out this weekend to enjoy the outdoors. Your Oct. Camping partner is camped up the road here with a beautiful new MH. We have been to CW where they left some green of course and yesterday over to NW part of state enjoying the scenery. Eileen and her DH, Dave, as a wonderful fun loving couple and doing great with the new MH. I know she will post pics of it later. Today we are heading north into the U.P., to Indian Lake SP for a few days before they turn for home. And Rosemary (GypsyRose) will be joining us tonight as well. Mini GTG going to happen up there.

Got to get a move on here. Y'all have a nice day and good weekend.

Getting ready to head back to western PA early tomorrow morning, for another dog show weekend then I will hurry home to turn around in the driveway and head off to Brown County State Park and a week of camping. Last weekend I realized I need additional outside lighting to groom outside on those mornings with 8 or 9 o'clock ring time. It is hard to see dark dogs in the pre-dawn light. I see a trip to Harbor Freight coming up in the next hour or so.

Spent Tuesday afternoon and yesterday playing with Nan who slowed down enough in her travels back to the east to explore parts of SW Ohio. We didn't make a dash to see a long list of things but had a nice dinner on Tuesday and spent several hours exploring the wandering aisles of the IKEA store on Wednesday and made observations of useful designs and creativity. Yes, we did need a shopping cart before we were ready to exit the building. We then made a stop at the brand new Cabala's on the way back to Lebanon for some kayaking tie down supplies. Don't tell me we don't know how to have fun!

Have a great day and find some good adventures out there.

Good Morning from very wet Clarksville, Virginia! All this rain was to have passed, but apparently it turned around.

I finished my trip yesterday - a little over 9000 miles. Not thrilled to be back in the real world and all the chores, etc. SS event here for Blues Bash weekend starts this evening. My plans to wash the SS, do laundry and grocery shop have been foiled by the rain so far. I would have done it on the way to the campground, but apparently there wasn't enough sun the last few days to keep house batteries charged so I was anxious to get plugged in.

Glad to see some of you are out and about - whether short or longer trips. I'm trying to figure out where to go next!

Have a good day everyone and safe travels.!

Short post. Sitting in Rv dealer waiting to get some work done. Need new vent cover for bathroom, generator oil change, and vibrating AC fan looked at. Also am having one of those black tank vents added. You know--kind where wind pulls out stinky air. So got at least a couple of hours to sit. Got reading I can do.

Heading back to Michigan to drop stuff off with niece then heading south with the rest of the birds for the winter!!

Had several huge rainstorms last night. The northern parts of the Twin Cities got over 6 inches of rain in just a couple hours so tons of flooding up there. Most of it was north of me but we got probably 2 or 3 inches as well. Glad those didn't hit while I was driving up that way to get my trailer yesterday! Lots of roads closed due to the flash floods.

My new little trailer is at a friends house getting new wiring done. Should be perfect for my trip!

My brothers now want to try to reconcile with my dad...I think I need to let the cat out of the bag now and tell them about my move. I knew somehow they or he would throw a wrench into my plans. They will just have to deal with it tho since I am not changing my mind now.

Off to work soon. 4 more day of work, then 4 days of packing/loading up and I hit the road!

Sounds like some of you are getting ready to head south as well, for the winter. Hope to see some of you in Q in January!

Glad you didn't get hit by the storms Barbie. As for telling I think I would just leave and send them an email from down the road ! If you come this way let me know.

It's very warm here again so ready for fall so I can at least complain about something different :)

Anita sorry that your amazing adventure is over. I really enjoy all your posts about the trip. Thank You! Judy you sure get around. I think Nan inspires shopping, seems as though I remember others who have joined her outings. I would like to go to an IKEA store but none close. Sue, glad you are getting to spend time with Eileen and her DH I'm sure they appreciate having you as a tour guide and your travel tips. There is so much to learn when starting out.

It's a beautiful first day of fall here with temps maybe reaching 80 then it's back to summer temps by weekend! We have an afternoon trip to ENT to hear in person results from scans which we already read online  home again hopefully before traffic gets bad.
Tina, I was watching you tube videos a few days ago, interviews with people who live in their vans. Several seem to really like the Ryobi brand battery power rechargeable fans and lights. They said they use the largest battery available and charge with their solar or plug in if they have regular power. I'm going to look into the two, fan and light for Christmas gifts for Mel and will report back here as to how long charge lasts and how bright. It sounded useful. And they said the light is bright.
Have a good day all.
Velda

Good afternoon
Still in the 90s here - think news said now 105 days above 90 this summer.
Waited around for termini all day only to have changed to next week at last minute. I wasn't going anywhere any way but it is annoying.
Still slowly plugging away at "war" on paper which seems to multiple at an alarming rate around here.
I've started reading labels more carefully mainly trying to avoid items from China. Finding it difficult - almost like we do not grow or manufacture anything in US any more.
Had a VERY strange phone call this afternoon. Guy claimed to be my grandson and in need of money. I don't have a grand son and when I suggested he had the wrong number he got very nasty about how stupid I was that I didn't recognize his voice. Tried to do a reverse look up on number but "unfound"
Back to work.

Sarah, the phone call from (name your relation) is a known scammers tactic often used on older folks......

have heard of various accounts of that phone call...but it would be pretty
funny when you don't have that type of relation...usually they check better
take care
