Some of you know that I am NOT a morning person, so the rest of you must really be sleeping in.
My son picked me up at the campground and drove me to his house in his "new" 1940 Ford--quite an interesting ride. Beautifully restored, but the front seat is so small and of course, no AC, but lots of air blowing in. Scary part of no seat belts and doors open really easily, so you have to push door handle wrong way to "lock" yourself in. Plus, it burns a lot of oil, but fun car regardless.
I am going to finish repacking some things today at his house for storage and then run some errands. Then after dinner, he will take me home and I will just be stopping by here once on Thursday before leaving on Friday morning. And nice break for a few days as I am between semesters, so NO papers to grade!!!

Morning Judy! If you only have to get up early once every quarter you can handle it! You are woman! You are strong! You are retired! You are awesome! I am sitting in the local Ford dealership waiting for them to make my a/c in the dash work and the to change the oil, filter, etc. they said 4-5 hours. It is what it is! I took Suite Pea in to the RV doc because the propane keeps being crazy. Says it is less than 1/2 full on the gauge and inside, but they fill it to the full stage! Something with the sensor or gauge or both. But not leaking! Yes!! Trying to get all these little things seen to before I hit the road west for a couple of months. This is a great time to be on the road! When it cools down a bit more it will be fantastic!
Hoping Martha doesn't get mold on her RV from it setting so long. You need a road trip Martha! I know you are getting hitch itch! It was nice to see that Janice got a new to her rig! She will have a lot of fun making new memories in that rig. Here is hoping that all the GTG have great weather, level sites, and lots of cheap gas to get there and back!
Remember maintenance items if you haven't had them done. Bearings, brakes, tire check-balance-alignment. I had a 'rapid loss of air' event driving in a construction zone! Talk about exciting! It happens...be ready. Have fun, be safe!

Hey Birdie. I am cooling off from cleaning my motorhome so I can take it to the shop this afternoon. The roof air conditioner isn't working. It hasn't cooled off enough to go anywhere without air conditioning. The funny thing is that it did have mold on it and a couple of spiders had set up house. There was a Walmart bag on the front seat and it must have been sweating. I am going to the beach with some friends so am trying to remember how to travel with a suitcase. It's so much easier to have all you need already loaded. I'm sure I'll forget something. I sure hate that I can't make the trip West with you. I'm just afraid I would get 1,000 miles from home and Harold would do something crazy. Hope you have a safe trip and no more problems.
Better get moving or my ride home will beat me to the shop.

A little late but still morning.
Martha, I've learned to keep a couple of packs of DampRid in Magic when she is parked for a while. We've had an unusually hot and humid summer here and that stuff has worked great; amazing how much moisture it extracts from the air.
Otherwise same old stuff going on here - allergy shots yesterday, actually every Monday - and a couple of short errands.
Need to get back to my war on paper and bookkeeping. The amount of excess paper here is crazy; and of course I've made a bigger mess of things pulling it out and trying to sort and toss.
I do hope you have a more interesting planned than I do.

I am sorting, purging and taking things to the local church for their rummage sale. Another trip there yet today and one for the library with all my 9 boxes full of books for their book sale next week. Need to get the storage locker completely cleaned out today since the power in our building will be turned off most of the day tomorrow because of construction stuff they are doing here. Can't see what I am doing in the dark!
Also need to straighten up in here by 1:30 since they are showing the place then. Then I am going to a friends house later for dinner. She said she is making sloppy joes. So what did I just do? I stopped at Culvers for lunch and had a sloppy joe! Wasn't thinking...oh well!
Back to work!...have a great day!

Past noon here, but saying a quick hi. Am waiting for Eileen (Beazle) and her DH to pick me up for a run to CW. I need a new bayonet fitting for sewer hose and they are getting a Sewer Solution for their MH. They set up shop at State park down the road. Looks like we are exploring NW corner of lower peninsula tomorrow and Then heading to Indian Lake SP for more exploring up there on Thursday or Friday. I just got back from three wonderful days up there with other friends. Other than Han a couple of hours of rain late on Friday and a short shower on Saturday, we had perfect weather. Temps have been in mid 70's and nights in 50's. Perfect for camping. Looks like a couple weeks l down coming though. So will fill you in on latest adventures later and I'm sure Eileen will have plenty to tell you too, being this is their Maiden voyage.

Yes,Sarah, I'm going to have to do something for the humidity. This is the first time I have found mold in my motorhome but it has rained almost every day all year. The last 2 campouts for the Louisiana Belles have been canceled because of flooding at the state parks where we were going. My sister and I have only been to the lake once because of one thing or another. I just don't camp enough.
I need to find a big enough kennel to put Posse in tonight with a litter box. She is having dental work tomorrow so she need to be shut up over night. I have to have her to town for 7:00 so I will have to set an alarm clock. Being retired means not having to do that very often.
