Relaxing Monday

The puppers and I are now switching over to camping mode from showing mode here in Michigan. The circles of fifth wheels, trailers and family filled rigs have rolled out and left quiet free of children's bikes and sets of corn hole. It was interesting how small groups would park their rigs around the loops parallel to the road with all doors facing inside and community was created in the center space. We will stay put at least until Thursday or Friday before we move east towards the lake and the St Clair area for another weekend dog show, all breed this time.

The fog is rising over the lake and the kayak needs to get out soon. I will admit that I left the Hornbeck at home since I knew that I would be leaving the car parked over here for two days while the rig and the dogs spent the day over in the day use area. I just didn't see the need to leave it hang out here when I couldn't keep my eyes on it. Besides the Fast Track Sea Eagle is a better choice for Audrey's first kayak ride. It is much more forgiving of wiggles.

Well off for some dog walks. Be careful out there what ever is on your to do list. Be on the search for the exceptional and wonderful...and anything that helps you smile...

Morning,

Sun is shining, sky is blue, going into upper 70's today. Time to do some work outside. First gotta go to town. Need rear tail light fixed on truck and want to buy a stove before sale is off. I have glass top here and hate it. Small burners are in back and one front burner is so big, I don't even have a pan that size. Mostly use the small ones. Waste of stove area far as I'm concerned. Getting one like I had at last house. Loved that stove.

Spent yesterday between church, few errands, a 9/11memorial service for fallen first responders and visiting neighbor's. Time to get back to work. Supposedly going camping this coming weekend as friends are heading to U.P. Will know more Wednesday. Weather looks like might be wet one day. Then hopefully meet up with Rosemary(GypsyRose) and Eileen (Beazle) over next couple of weeks.

Gotta get my day started here, so wishing you all a nice day.

Good morning
Quite an emotional day yesterday with all the 911 memories and specials.
My little motorhome I've kept my eye on for 6 months has finally sold, will
continue shopping.
Little noise and flashes in the sky this morning, its all scattered clouds but
no rain.
Time to to work, y'all have a great day.

Morning, all! I am off to dump my tanks this morning, and then I will take my rental car out to run some errands and do laundry. Got a brief creak between semesters, but not much. Wednesday I will head back to Ohio to do more storage cleanout. Have two more weeks in Florida before I plan to leave for Florida, assuming all goes well.

Glad to see a few of you are on the road and enjoying the last of summer.

I just got back from bringing Posse to the vet. Saturday I noticed she was keeping one ear to the side. I looked in her ear and it had brown gunk in it. She has an ear infection. We are not going to be happy, I have to put medicine in her ear twice a day. She also has a cavity on a tooth and that needs to come out. I was afraid to ask how much that was going to cost. The tooth doesn't seem to be bothering her much, she weights 14 pounds.

It has been raining off and on all day. I managed to get in and out of where I had to go between the down pours. The rain is keeping the temperature down, it 87. It got down to 75 when it was raining on me. I keep hearing rumors of a cool front but it hasn't shown up yet.

Tina, your relaxing plan sounds wonderful.
Spent most of yesterday watching or listening to 9/11 related programs on TV.
Got two more allergy shots today. I'm into month 5 of this now. Not much change as far as I can tell.
A quick trip to Wal Mart finished off my outing today. Went after 3 things, only found one but somehow still managed to leave the store with 3 items.
This time last year I was heading to gtg in IN. Sure wish that was the case this year.
I do hope you had a more interesting day. At least we have had a couple of really nice weather days tho still hot, low 90s are better than high 90s.
