Good morning all...we remember...beautiful hot day...my dad is resting peaceful at the Hospice House...comfort measures...we had our last communication with him on Friday little as it was...that is all I have right now...have a good one...donna

Glad to hear your dad is resting comfortably, Donna. I was always sorry I did not get my mother into hospice earlier.

Another restful day along Lake Erie with a very nice breeze blowing. And the best part is that the noisy weekenders are packing up and leaving. Yea! (Especially glad the ones who like to play their music outside are already gone.)

I got another nice, long night's sleep and so feel really good this morning. Hope everyone out there on the road and at home are doing well.

Oh gosh! The equinox may be ten days off, but we've got the first clear, crisp day of fall here -- even though none of the leaves are turning color yet. Happy! Time to have fun.

Went to a very nice baby shower yesterday. For my next (third) great-grand baby. Today is football and walking Casey around the block. Easy day. Lyn

Quiet day for me, too. We're hanging out at the family cottage near Angola, Indiana until tomorrow when we go to Elkhart to pick up our new RV! Very excited. We plan to stay around Elkhart for a few days to practice & learn, get hitch stuff attended to, then head north through Michigan and over the top to come home, taking a couple weeks to do so. Also plan to try to hook up with both Sue & Louise on the way & camp together a bit. Beautiful cool weather here today, too.

Donna, glad you had a chance to talk to your dad one last time. Sounds like he will pass peacefully. Take care and cry as much as you need to.

Another gorgeous cool sunny day but i will be at work again all day .

Have the next two days off to tackle the garage and get the Jeep worked on.
