Morning all,
Slim breakfast fixing here this morning, so you are n your own today. Heading for store in a little while. After 2 days of warm, muggy weather, it's moving out
Cooler air will be coming in with more fall like temps. Fine by me.
Off to the shower this morning, then off to town. Planning on doing load of wash and puttering in garage, getting a little more organization in there. Shed will be next. Finishing putting things in order from moving this summer. But not today. Hope you all have a nice day and keep safe.

A gorgeous day here, sunny, calm and cool. I can open up the windows and get some fresh air in here!
I have the day off and will be getting the rest of my apartment sorted and purged today. They are showing it at 5:30 so need to clean up in here too later on (after I make a big mess!).
That's about it here...have a great day!

Not much going on here. My son came home with a bug and gave it to me. I started feeling bad Tuesday night. It was kind of like the flu, ache all over, head ache and upset stomach. I don't think I slept an hour all night. It must have been a 24 hour bug because I started feeling better last night. I usually get sick when I fly. I think it's being cooped up in a small space with so many people. Another reason to RV and not fly.
I had talked to my sister about going to the lake but had to cancel. Harold is going to a horse show up that way Saturday. I might follow him and then go on to the lake. Will have to see what is going on with the weather by then.

morning ladies
it is still morning, at least for an hour, but have been pretty busy with chores and other necessary things. I do read and
scan posts daily but I know I don't post much anymore. I'm doing well, even though life has been a really huge roller
coaster over these past few months. I am so looking forward to retirement I just want to scream. Still deciding where
I want to park the fifthwheel as homebase and do my travels in the motorhome. I've seen many options but no decisions.
So much "new" policy stuff going on at work, its very annoying. They will loose alot of good employees in this next year.
Ironically, all this hoop lah about paper reduction act, is causing us MORE paperwork. Have I mentioned how much I hate
paperwork. Ok, I could go on and on but I'm just not in the mood.
Ya'll enjoy your day and be safe.

Still getting over bronchitis here. Mel has been going off on his own out of necessity this week with trips to have bloodwork and scans and today to dentist. It's a relief to not have to get up sick amd drive, we have some smoke from a fire way north on oregon border so my lungs are just better off indoors. Can't believe how long I've been coughing. Weather is warm or so Mel and the thermometer say, maybe it will cool eventually. One thing I've noticed is, last year, probably due to drought, the leaves changed and dropped way early, being well under way by this point last year. This year they are still green mostly. Interesting.
Been fun hearing about all everyone here is doing. Have a good rest of week all.

Ava, the last company I worked for decided to go paperless. That meant that papers had to be scanned into the computer system. That was all well and good when something was scanned as a good image and identified so it could be found. They had hired part time help to scan but it didn't take long to see that was not going to work. Most part time help didn't care how well they did the job. We all started doing our own scanning so we could find things we needed. That cuts down on having to store files but I wonder what they are going to do if they have a computer crash and lose a bunch of information. Not my problem, I'm retired. lol
