Good morning, all. Rabbits roll call checking in: all is well here. We're getting closer to picking up our new RV, but they moved back the pick up date a few more days to Monday, Sept. 12, so we have to be patient, it's hard to wait!! I have some pictures from the build, so I'll practice getting pictures posted with those. Sue is "up north" with her rig with great weather so let's hope it lasts. I have a funeral today but it's a blessing:96 year-old with dementia so it was time for her journey.
That's all I know for now: enjoy your holiday weekend, & be safe on the roads...
Eileen

Good morning Everybody from rainy CT. Carolb came for an overnight visit and it was so nice to see her. She is part of my little band of CT Roadtrekkers. They all came and we went out to lunch. I am doing really well and will start my cardio rehab on Sept 16th. Enjoy today. Peggy

Rabbits from south Dakota. Nan texted me when she arrived in the area and we're getting together this afternoon/evening. Yay. I'll try to remember to get a picture. She, Linda and I will head to Mt Rushmore for the lighting ceremony. It's one of my favorite things. I get all misty eyed every time.
This morning I need to head into Rapid to let the new manager of another store pick my brain.
And very exciting news. Vicki and Dave will be working here next summer. Yippie!

I remembered Rabbits this morning! I need all the luck I can get! I always wake up with an anxiety attack about this move and all the work I still have to do! As the day goes on, I feel more confident and excited about it tho!
I spent yesterday at the State Fair for 10 hours! It was perfect weather and I had fun. Watched a calf being born in the Miracle Of Birth barn.
After paying off all my debts last month, I just checked my credit score this morning and it is at 735! Now I can go get a line of credit at the bank for back up/emergency funds and get a good interest rate.
Thinking of you Donna and your dad. Hoping things start looking better after the tests!
Off to work this morning...

I saw where Sarah mentioned "Rabbits" on Facebook last night and I thought at 12:00 I can say it. You think I remembered that for an hour, no.
Yesterday was the first day it didn't rain in as long as I can remember. The storm is bringing us clear weather on the backside. Someone on the Weather Channel said we have been watching this storm for 18 days since it came off Africa. I'm about sick of Hermine. Harold decided to wait one more day to bring his horse home. He almost picked her up yesterday because she was cutting up. You know kids, they have to show their behind in front of people. If my son was back I would see if my sister wanted to go to the lake.
Peggy, glad you are doing well and got to see Carolb.
Yesterday when I was checking out at Walmart the woman behind me in line had 2 kids standing up in the basket. She was looking at her phone and not watching the kids. One was leaning out trying to reach the box where you put a credit card. If I hadn't been standing close enough to catch the kid's arm he would have taken a header out of the basket.
It is getting bad, people walking around looking at phones instead of where they are going.

Rabbits...I don't know if I said it out loud or just thought it this morning! Does it make a difference?
Peggy, good news about the cardio workout. Glad to hear you are doing well.
People on phones...you should see them walking around downtown. Why more don't get hit by cars I'll never understand.
Leaving tomorrow for a snazzy RV Resort for the LD holiday. Wouldn't pay this much, but, it is a birthday celebration for the daughter.

Forgot about rabbits as I lost track of the days this week. Staying put in Pocatello, ID until after the holiday weekend. I did have a nice short visit with Sheila yesterday. Today I went to Walmart and got 2 prescriptions refilled. One of them had been "accidentally" canceled. The pharmacy tech called and was able to get it reinstated and faxed to them, so it all worked out. Very efficient pharmacy staff there.
No rodeo going on at the fairgrounds where I am, but there were a bunch of horses and riders here last evening for a roping event. Some of the riders were young children. Fun to watch.
Donna, I am glad your sister is coming to be with you and help with the decision-making. I'm keeping you in my prayers.
Peggy, glad you are making good progress and had some fun company.
Sure glad LA is getting spared this hurricane, Martha.
Lyn, hope you have a fabulous, luxurious weekend. In fact, I hope that for everybody.
