Good Morning All!

Cloudy and chilly here today so cut our morning walk short and here I am - no morning posts. Wow - a bunch of sleepy heads and I'm not one of them!

Hope you all have a wonderful day!

7:15 here in Mexico -we're on mountain time until we move again. Where is everyone this a.m.?
We had a wonderful day yesterday - revisited little village of El Quelite cause we liked it so (haven't posted about it yet.) And did we ever pick the right day. It was the birthday of the Secretary of Tourism so there was a big show for him and we were there to see it. We went on Sat cause we wanted to see the locals play a game of Ulama - not only did they do that there were Folklorico Dancers, Pre-Hispanic dances, Charro -roper, cock fight birds, dancing horses, band with singer, and the whole town was out most of the kids on their donkeys or horses. It was just great. took lots of pictures and some videos....
Today we'll just relax - I'm hoping we'll find a TV station that carries the race - oh did find "Law and Order SVU" and 'House" really seems weird to watch them with the voice overs in Spanish. Carnival starts the end of this week. And it is a big deal here in Mazatlan.
Later......

YEP...I sure did sleep in today, and then played with all my pictures I took at the parade yesterday. Sorry to be so late!

It's sunny here again, but very cold with a nasty wind, making it even colder. I need to get out there on my skis, anyway, and get my legs moving and my heart pumping. After standing around for hours yesterday at the carnival doings, I need some activity today!

Happy Sunday, you all, and I hope you find something fun to do today!

Goooood Morning Sistahs!!!

Now how funny is that? Beth usually comes in later but today she everyone! Good going Beth!!!

I've been up but got right into my email, news and comic fix this morning. Altho I will claim and use the sick excuse this morn. I feel a eensy weensy tiny bit better so far today. But can feel the total blah creeping up on me.

Have got the dishes done, need to get after the floors. As I'm not moving overly fast today it might take me a little bit to get the floors swept up, don't have any idea if I will mop them today or not? Have to see how I feel after I get them swept. I do need to find the top of the kitchen table today. I have no idea what it is with me and kitchen tables? Personally I think it's gremlins that come in every night and make a mess of it. Everything lands on the table. Everything everyone does or uses finds it's way to the table and I'm about the only one that cleans it off. ~sigh~ David does pitch in and gets after the table once in awhile tho. Which is great of course but after he's done I can't find anything. :D Oh and I have got my one load of laundry in the dryer. Almost ready to buzz at me too. I've also go supper going in the crockpot too, nice looking roast beefies with lots and lots of onions. Kelly peeled them for me, she's a good girl sometimes! ;)

Hope everyone has a great day, please stay safe.

Love to all

Ok I guess I've taken a long enough break? I had better get back at it cause I think this is gonna take me all day.

Another sleep in here. Actually I could not sleep last night. Ended up watching "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" which ended at 4:30 AM. Enjoyed the movie.
Have spoiled what might have been a decent remainder of the morning by stepping on the scales, something I haven't done in a while. Not a pretty picture.
Hope all have a good day.

I was up bright and early, but couldn't get on the Forum. I was just about to e-mail Beth and chew her out, but tried for the 10th time and there it was. Consider yourself unchewed Beth.
Yesterday I cleared out the bedroom. I seem to have a thing for crawling into boxes right now. I had to actually crawl right into the box under the bed. I was dreading it closing on me, convincing myself that I'd be able to open from underneath, wondering how long it would take Sarah to realise I was missing in action. However, all went well, got the bed made and Bogie immediately jumped on it and slept. Then he wanted a walk and went straight back to bed. I guess he doesn't approve of sleeping on the couch.

Good Morning! I'm coming in late ...ate breakfast and did my aerobic exercises to the Wii so now I'm pooped and need a break! Lordy that program makes me workout!!! I called my Mom to tell her I programed in a Avatar that looked like me and told her the Avatar looked rather thin and then it made me stand on the wii board and weighed me and suddenly my avatar was fat and told me I'm obese! The Nerve!!! LOL    Anyway I'm one who does not like to exercise everyday and this Wii is making it clear "YOU WILL!!" At least it fun!! I did not realize how bad my posture and center of balance was till I started this thing...WOW...a real eye opener to realize I am in bad shape!!

DH is off on day two teaching a couple to drive their motorhome. We have them staying with us for $18 a night and then beginning the lessons from Home. Mon & Tues he has another student and a gal is suppose to come to town soon for her lesson too. Keeping him busy! Dan's great at this because he is very patient and calm.

We went out to dinner with some friends on Fri 13th to Mimi's Cafe in Yuma, figured the Restaurants would not be as packed as the 14th but I think everyone else had the same idea. Then we had a steak dinner at home yesterday.
So I got the Wii for Valentines Day and I gave Dan a portable hand held GPS so he can do Geo caching.

Got a chance to see Peggy & Clyde Waterman ( Life On Wheels) and Joe & Vicki Keiva ( authors and instructors of L.O.W. and other conferences) Joe & Vicki have decided to just relax now and stop all the traveling back and forth to all the different things like Life on wheels and FMCA stuff. They made a pact that when it became work they were going to quit and so it isn't fun anymore. The economy really has taken a toll on the RV world industry.

Good afternoon everyone....sorry I'm late. I didn't have time to get on here before leaving for church this morning. Now I've had my lunch and can take a few minutes to check in. I expect Carol (Carolinagal) back here sometime this afternoon. I know Maggie will be glad...I try, but I'm no substitute for her mama, especially at night.

Sparkle, I'm glad you've got your bed back. Sounds like Bogie is too.

Jenny, I have a Wii Fit too, only it's disconnected right now because of the room being renovated. I know it'll chew me out when I get back to it.

Soos, I thought of you when I read the Peanuts comic this morning. Don't know if you get it, but the gist of it was that Snoopy was rejoicing about the beautiful snowfall, dancing, etc. He kept it up so long that it quit snowing and his response was, "Rats! I overdid it!"

Echo, hope you're starting to feel better...said a little prayer for you.

Have a great day, whatever your weather is.

Well I was up and out of the house at 7AM this morning, never even turned on the 'pooter until 5pm Cal. time. Had a HOG's (Harley Owners Group) meeting today. It was 34 degrees when I left and I looked like the Michellin Man, only in black leather. Cold ride 30 miles to Rialto and then another 15 miles to San Bernadino after meeting up with the BF, but the afternoon warmed up a bit, so the ride home was fairly decent. Woke up around 4 and couldn't go back to sleep, so said heck (not really what I said, use your imagination), and got up and started the coffee.

Sparkle, I think there are support groups for your problem....

Looks like everyone had a good day and that's a good thing!
