Well for me, not so much, since I have to work all weekend :(

Where is everyone?

I checked out that room for rent on a horse farm last night. It was tempting since I would be allowed to ride the horses. I would have the whole lower level of the house, however, she also has dogs. Two little nice ones live inside the house and the big ones (mastiff, german shepard and something else big) live outside. The lower level smells really strong of dog and cat. Two cats also live downstairs. I doubt Lola and I would be able to live with that. Nice house tho and nice lady. She also wants first and last months rent up front and since it isn't much less than I am paying now, that would be more than I can cough up right now. So, I am going to pass and keep looking...

Finally cooling off here! Beautiful, sunny, low humidity and about 80* for a high today and all weekend. (Did I mention I have to work all weekend? :( )

Hope you all have a good weekend!

I am so happy with the change in our weather. Especially for tomorrow. I volunteer with our local historical society giving guided tours of our small towns old buildings. Means I ride around on a hay wagon type trolley pointing out old buildings and explaining their history. Four hours out in the hot humid weather would have done me in. I will be happy when tomorrow is over. Summer means lots of volunteer work for me. I love it but am glad to cut back the pace. I want to do some canning this year. Have a huge cabbage to shred and make sauerkraut.
Hope everyone has a great weekend.
Rita

Our weather change is not to the good. It's 105. That's the hottest I have seen it in a few years. It feels like an oven when I walk outside. Yesterday our electricity went out for an hour. It was clear and no storms so don't know what happened. I hope that doesn't happen today. No plans other than trying to stay cool.

I keep thinking I will volunteer at the local state park but think I will wait until it cools off.

I guess I better go see if Stinky is ready to come in. She followed me out when I went to get something out of the car.
