Monday Morning

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Monday Morning

Postby Colliemom » Mon Jul 18, 2016 7:06 am

Sunshine here after a day of much needed rain yesterday. Good day to putter in the hose. Got a few more pictures hung up, hooks put up to hang coats, leashes etc. on. Nice hot bowl of beef stew for dinner. Was that kind of day. Not sure what's on today's agenda. Maybe some work in garage or shed. Bit too wet to do flowerbeds work. Need to give some attention to my trailer too as hitting the road in a couple weeks. Kind of hoping tree crew comes this week as well. Just have some small trees, bushes, stumps etc. taken out.

Reading yesterday's posts, see all seems to be well with most of you. Pat, Bronc sure is a cutie. One handsome cowboy growing up and one future rodeo rider too. Loved that look of concentration.

Carolb, no pressure. I know I had better make an appearance pretty soon or a search party would be formed :) fresh veggies already! Seems like you just planted that garden.

Guess I'll mosey along here. Check some other posts etc. Want to extend a welcome all the new gals too. Been so busy with move etc., no time to read all the introductions. Have a nice day everyone.

Laying in bed waiting for my electric heater to bring temps in here up a tad. Love the cool nights here. AC will be on later. The heat wave Pat mentioned will start here overnight tonight. Lows only going into the 60's for a few days and 90's for highs. No heat necessary the next few mornings.

Karen, I hope your I pad is okay. (Yesterday you were sitting on it :) ).

Good morning ladies
Good rain last night so little humid today.
I am treating myself to breakfast out of town this morning.
Going to the Rock Springs Cafe in Black Canyon City, also known
around town as,,,"that pie place in Black Canyon City" lol.
I've done so much pitching stuff out, and sorted a bunch of old old
pictures yesterday, lot of memories, some good, some bad. Its
time for a break. I'm grateful to have a little break in the heat!
So, yesterday I get a call from Bill, guess he threw a rod in the
motorhome around El Paso. Tow truck wait was hours and he's
currently locked into the repair facility until they open. Then he's
calling Enterprise for a rental and continue on his trip. A trip to
WalMart for coolers for the groceries. Glad I didn't go. He's
bored out of his mind, told him this morning there was a deck
of cards in the bottom kitchen drawer. Lol, he didn't know!!
Oh well, maybe some day his brain will learn to relax.
Guess I'll get out and about with Maggie before I go, she has to
stay home today. Just waiting for rush hour to get over. Y'all
have a great day, be safe. Carold I'll call ya later.

The indoor/outdoor thermometer in my office says it 80 this morning. That can't be right. This one must be going out, it's 95 in the back of the house.

Ava, I think some men need a woman around because they need another brain. There is an old movie where some one said the old man had wisenheimers, that's where your smarts run out with your pee. My younger son says that's what his dad has. When I got home yesterday Harold was upset about a bill that came in the mail. He opened someone else's mail and thought the guy the bill was for wanted money from us. I don't know how he got all that mixed up. Who ever sorted the mail messed up. It was the wrong person and wrong road.

I need to go bring something to my neighbor's if I can catch her. I don't know where she goes all the time because she doesn't work.

Good Morning,
I envy your cool temps Beth! No need for heaters here, can only dream of cooler weather, the heat wave has arrived. Ava I know you are really happy you stayed home from the trip with Bill!
Bronc is growing so fast and he is such a cutie!!! I love seeing his pictures Pat!

I think I will skip yoga this morning, something I seldom do but just don't feel like getting out. I'm working with an interesting 'case' over Skype. The person has agoraphobia and other issues that have kept her from venturing out. She is a good hypnosis subject and after one session she was able to go have her hair cut for the first time in a year! I know there is no scientific evidence how hypnosis works and even though I accept that it does, it continues to amaze me!

Stay safe and enjoy the day.

Just read your definition of wisenheimers Martha and I'm still laughing!

Morning, weather here is warm out and kind of cloudy, I LOVE IT. I am just not a fan of sweltering temps and feel I have to hibernate inside during that time. Was out sweeping my front and back patio as they just had some dust and a few leaves but looks much better. Might tackle washing a few more windows today, we shall see.

Beth, your too funny. Yup IPAD is just dandy LOL

Going to have dinner with Laura and Alice tonight and I am looking forward to it very much.

I have plenty of food so no need to go to the store for a while. I should stay home and start eating it BUT cannot pass up a visit with some forum sisters. I froze most of it so it is all good.
