Good morning! Everyone sleeping in??
Have had several thunderstorms roll thru here since 5am. Nothing severe so was fun to listen to.
Off to work here but hoping you all have a good day!

Another hot day, it's already 98. I went out to get the paper and there are dark clouds all around us and I can hear thunder. A shower should cool things off.
I went down to the pond yesterday afternoon but couldn't fish. There is an about 18" alligator in the pond. The little s*#t isn't afraid of me at all so he probably came from an alligator farm. He kept chasing the bobber and following me around the pond. If he doesn't move on we will have to call the parish trapper. I could probably catch him on a fish hook but then what would I do with him.
I should have gone to the dutch oven cookout at the park yesterday. They were making ice cream. That would have been interesting to watch. I am going to try to make the watermelon ice cream the next time I buy a watermelon.

OH...an alligator chasing you around your pond?!?! Glad he is only 18 inches!!!
Big excitement around here with all the All Star activities. For those of you watching the game on Tuesday, there will be lots of pictures of San Diego. During the game, if there is a shot of the outfield, in deep center field is the old score board, large, black. Behind this score board, one block away is a tall (32 stories) building...that is where I live. I love living down town and all this excitement. Lots of tourists too!
Sun is coming out...was very warm yesterday when it came out. Big party at our swim pool.
Three weeks and I go camping! lyn

Had enough sun yesterday afternoon to spend a few hours at the beach here at Harris Beach SP, but rained most of the night and is going to drizzle today, so this is an indoor day, I suspect.
Finally figured out how to hook my new camera to my laptop to download photos. Darn thing has the connection hidden behind a tiny flap that I could NOT find until now. Duh. So far, I really love my new camera. Best part is no more dust particles behind the lens that makes telephoto pictures look like there are big clumps of stuff floating around.
