Good morning all! Gonna be a hot day in PA today! Sweater needed the other day and today supposed to get up to 90! Had a quiet 4th cause it rained! But figure this week end will be noisy since people will still want to set off the fireworks they bought!

Donna, hope you find out what's going on with the electrical problem in your RV! Not fun not having your ac, I imagine. Carol, I looked at your blog from Boise this morning. I have fond memories of the speedway in Meridian. My grandparents had a farm just out of town and I remember laying in bed at night hearing the dull roar of the cars! No ac back then so windows would be open! Amazing that the speedway is still there! Alice, hoping everything works out for you..

Not much happening here, SIL finally retired and her last day was the 4th. Now she will be getting everything organized for the move to MA in about a a month. A new chapter for us all. Things are moving forward to get my awning fixed. Everything ordered and just waiting to hear that Jim has the stuff and can get it fixed. Still wanting to finish my trip to NY to visit Carolb's part the country!

Well, time to get dressed and get busy! Not sure yet what I'll get into today! No big plans! Hope everyone has a good day and if you are on the road, travel safe!

Good morning, barely 7 and its already 84 degrees!! Was up early, two trips to Walmart and I'm done for the day outside. Two trips you ask? I had to replace my Waterhose, seems to have deteriorated on the inside, water burned my mouth and we're not talking hot water. A 25' hose was too short, went back and got a 10' to add to it. I had put a new filter on a month ago so my theory is like tires, the inside breaks down over time. My old hose was 10 years old!!
Today will consist of indoor activity, mostly purging stuff I don't need or want.
Y'all have a good day, be safe

Good Morning to All. Would you believe that Bill has turned the furnace on here in the RV this morning in Boise! IT IS NOT THAT COLD. Though it does really cool down at night. During the day it is getting cooler too. Only in the high 80's today.
The insurance adjuster will be here this morning and then we can figure out what we are going to do. Hopefully the RV place here will be able to get us in and fix it right away - otherwise we'll head home and get it fixed there. We do know the whole thing has to come off - the awning itself is fine, but they don't seem to want to use it.
I'm ready to get on the road again. And it is a little cooler now in Vegas.
Drive safely if on the road. Haven't checked the weather since we don't have TV Hope it is nice where you are traveling.

It was raining here for a little while. It didn't cool things off very much. It's still 94. The weather says the heat index will be 105 to 110. Anyone that has cool weather enjoy it.

I just replaced my water hose recently because the old one kept getting kinks and would't straighten out. Walmart now has the drinking hoses in blue. I think the one I got was 35'. I carry a 10' hose too just in case.

No plans for today. I should go take the front curtain down in my camper and fix the broken tabs before I can't fine the tabs.

On break at work. Another busy day!

It is hot but not as humid as yesterday. Had some nasty storms roll thru yesterday afternoon but the worst of it was north and south of me. The lake here does protect us from the really bad stuff. It always goes around us for the most part.

Got a call from my dads phone company this morning to tell me about all the calls to and from Jamaica. Their fraud dept put a block on his phone so he can no longer make international calls. I went one step further and had them block all long distance calls in and out. That will put the kabosh on the whole scamming deal! My dads renter will just have to suck it up and change his California area code on his cell to a local one.

Hope you all have a great day! Gotta get back to work!
