Thursday...I'm getting there ! Morning All...I sure do hope and pray that none of you or your family were in or around that awful Torando..geeez this is the time of the year those things start popping out of the sky.. Lord listening to the news was just so sad...This year the weather has played havoc all over the USA.. We've had the extreme cold and snow in areas.. Mother Nature is sure given us a going over..

I'm starting to feeling better..and I'm still on limited duty..Yeah..well close enough..as some things i just have no choice ..ya gots ta do !..My girlfriend is here in Orlando at a Trade Show then will be coming to her house on Sunday..so that will be neat having her and her friend down..Looks like we'll have a Karaoke night..LOL..now that is sure a lot of fun..Watching others belt out their tunes (off)..

I'm gonna take a stroll here..not a long one..as I do limit my sitting in this hard chair time..(ouch)..

Fernie..done ate all those Cookies..oooooooh ya better watch out.. and Orchid (Cheryl) and Bluepinecombs talking about Laptops..and Ava.. you might check around there should be great prices on Laptops...but make sure you get a good virus program..seems you've been hit a bit..

GetupNgo (Janice) gave us..25 things and they say, "Random" to read on health..ooooooh my Janice.. Sista's check them out..see what ya think..I especially like the one "People who enter the house near the Kitchen.." uh hum..that's where my door is...well the one I go through..now I can tell my Dr..that's my problem...stay out of my house !!! LOL...

Again..GetupNgo..(Janice) you were on a roll yesterday LOL Cougar Barbie's 50th birthday...LOL..

Carold (Carol) Posted an Alaskan coupon book..so do all check into that.. those have intentions of heading on up..

Liz... LIzzie sure hope things are going well with that handy man fixing that room for ya... I have mine going on..but it's a roof..yucko.. it's always something for sure..but here I have a few more on my list that have to get done..but those will be when I head back home..thank gawd !!

Asirimarco (Carol and Bill) having a little trouble with connections in Mexico...we miss ya Carol..but I'm sure when you move on we'll have lots of catch up.. and great pictures too...

As for the GTG in Florida... no one has entered anything other than Liz and I and Nan.. those dates are March 20th through the 22nd.. please do let us know..we'd love to meet with ya... other wise maybe just stop by and meet for lunch ..

Ok, well my butt is sore and I feel a little ache in the making..so I'm gonna head on into the kitchen and get a few things going.. like that Pot of Coffee..loves that perking sound and aroma.. the whistling of the Kettle for those that drink Tea, or Hot cocoa. and oh yeah....have some Crumb Cake..now when I was a kid in New York City..the biggy was Drakes Crumb Cake..nothing finer for the pallet.. Ok..all..it's off I go.. Please do come in and sit and let's hear what's happening with you all today..

Good morning everyone!

Got a call last night from my SIL (Carolinagal). She's coming on a whirlwind breeze through FL. She'll be here sometime today...gonna checkout the Pleasureway. (See if there's room for her and Maggie to go to AK with us). Then tomorrow she's off to visit other relatives and attend a wedding and back to NC by Monday! At least we'll have a good visit tonight and Maggie and Bandit will have a little time to bond. Roe and Maggie are already best buddies.

Waiting on the city inspector to check out part of the construction project, then the handyman can finish up the last details...just a few more days I hope. The next project will be to erect a carport/canopy for the rv. Needs to be a little bigger than the one I had for the RT. Found out I have to get a permit and inspection for that too. That's the trouble with living in the city limits I guess....code enforcement....and they seem to be checking more lately too....gotta bring those revenues in like everybody else.

Had a little rain blow through this morning, but expect warm and sunny weather later today. Shorts weather! Have a great day all.

Barbz, I love the little birds outside the window. I'd have some outside mine if I'd only put up a new feeder.

Zeee, good morning, and thanks for that nice invitation,..... but that would take time off from work and $$$$$ neither of which I have! But that's ok, I am enjoying my life here.

Last night was my granddaughter's last basketball game of the season, she scored quite a bit, pulled down a lot of rebounds and made a foul shot at the last minute of play ... so she was grinning from ear to ear when she joined us in the stands for the varsity game. She'll still be j.v. next year then will move up to varsity for her junior and senior years.

For me, the season is winding down, but I'll follow both the girls and boys varsity teams through into the state sectional games.

Gooooood Morning Sistahs!!!!

Barbz I love the little birdies outside the window. And that's cause I've got the same birdies in the trees here. Standing out on the back porch while Shade did her morning thing there were 4 Cardinals, 2 Blue Jays in the trees and a bunch of Sparrows down in the grass. All kinds of singing going on this morning out there, it's a touch cool but the sun is coming on strong so they were enjoying right along with me. Glad to hear your doing better. No fun I know that for sure.

Work last eve was rough. They have been routing even more calls to us. The calls were just back to back with no time in between to catch your breath. They kept hollering at us to rush the calls and grab the next one. I had one female that called with 5 mortgage loans, all diff properties. Going thru the properties I had no time to write notes on any of them, when I was done with the calls I logged out of the phone to write the notes and they started hollering that I wasn't on the phone and that there were calls waiting. I got irate needless to say. I let them know I had 5 accounts to note and that I was doing the best I could. Geeze!!! They told me to hurry up. Finally got a lunch break after close to 6 1/2hrs after clocking in. The one girl next to me was in tears as she hadn't been on first break and she was suppose to go on lunch but they wouldn't let her go. Kelly finally got to go to lunch about an hour and half after I did. At 8:05pm I logged out of the phone, locked the computer and went to the bathroom. When I came out of the bathroom I said the hell with it, wrote my time down on the sup's desk and took my 10min break. Kelly didn't get a 2nd break at all. And we thought this was gonna be easier or at least better than collections???? Oh goodness I hope April hurries up!!!

HA!!! Boy is Kelly grumpy! hehehe She set her alarm for an hour earlier than she wanted to get up, it went off and she couldn't go back to sleep cause she needed to do that morning run to the potty!! So now she's in the shower and grumbling like crazy. Poor baby!!! Oh well, I guess that means we will have time for breakfast this morning.

Ok gonna get off here, get dressed, check my email and get my comic fix for the day.

Hope ya'll are safe and all in one piece if you were anywhere out there where those storms hit. Dang they were some nasty ones. Don't want anyone to be hurt or blown away.

Good Morning Everybody!

This is a late getting up and going for me, but I have the day off today, tomorrow, and Monday, too, for our Winter Carnival. Unfortunately, our warm weather and rain has put a huge damper on our carnival events for now, at least. I had hoped the temperature was on a downward trend, but I see it has risen again just while I've been sitting here----back up to 39 degrees, and melting everything in sight. The ice palace's days are very numbered, if not already over, after that warm rain we had all last night. Our snow pack has gone from 4 feet on the level to abut half that, and there are bare spots in my plowed driveway in between the ice and water puddles all along it. Oh well, with weather, what will be will be, and there's no point in stressing about it.

As Barb has said, I sure hope those in the way of any tornadoes made it through safely, and that those on the south eastern coast survived the horrible winds, rain, and T-storms, as well. Please check in with us so we know you are ok.

Liz, I was so glad to read that I am not the only one who runs a chainsaw! I am sure that Shelly, too, uses one regularly out on her ranch! I need to downsize mine at this point in my life, to one that I can handle easier. And I don't harvest full-grown maples any more for firewood, as I used to do! These days I will settle for smaller ones that I can handle!

CONGRATS to your granddaughter's basketball experiences this season, Cedar! Must be a mighty proud grandma, eh??

Hope you all have a good day doing something either fun or productive or both! Molly and I are off to see what we can do to get into trouble today!

Morning to all - still in Mazatlan - but having devil of time staying connected. Went to little tiny town of La Noira yesterday what a great time. visited with towns people and then visited a tequilla distillery. Can't get photobucket to work for me don't know if it is it or my connection. Will try again.
Echo I praise you for staying on that job, I'd be in jail by now. Hope the months pass quickly until you can get out.
One thing I miss here is NASCAR .....we get plenty of soccer for The Driver.

I thought I would post a little about my weather. We are supposed to be above the fog and below the snow here. But yesterday we had snow for the second time this winter. It started about 3:30pm. So about rush hour the roads were a mess, accidents all over. People here don't know how to drive in the snow, including me. Thankfully, I was home and watched it. It was beautiful to see. More is expected very late tonight and tomorrow.
