Waiting Again Saturday

Good Morning from the 45th,

Well, I'm in waiting mode again. My buyers lifted the inspection contingency yesterday so I was able to file the former offer on the neighbors house. So now we have to wait the 72 hour contingency out and see if the people who have the contingency offer on her house can come up with the cash and buy the place. She thinks not, so we shall see. She's happy i want the house. We even celebrated with pizza last night  . In meantime, the lake house I turned down is looking good with its new roof almost done and another hosue two doors over is getting a face lift too with all new insulation board and new siding on the outside. Other neighbors are getting ready for their garage sale, so busy neighborhood. Gaylord is a beehive of construction projects too this spring, so things are happening in this area.

I spent the day yesterday hauling boxes and other stuff from basement to garage. Don't have any idea how many trips I made up and down the stairs, but enough All out from down there now except a few odds and ends. Now will start on the upstairs. But today I'm going to town to check our a Relay for Life garage sale and also pick up some things i need. Taking a little break from the moving work. You gals are remarking about how ambitious I am  Right now I think it's more a matter of having to get things done as closing dates are coming up pretty quick. Me on June 7th and if I get the neighbors house, on June 10th. Just a little over two weeks. I will have 21 days to move out, but neighbor is officially leaving on June 14th, so I can start moving in after that. Then of course I am also maintaining my yard too :) Need to do some measuring over at the other house to see how much fencing i need for the dogs etc. So next few weeks are going to be busy. But I plan to balance it with some just monkeying around days too. Will be cancelling my June camping reservations but holding my July ones.

Nancy so glad to see you back. I too missed you. Sorry you had to go through depression and loss of money etc. but now your are getting your life back and that's what counts. More important, you want to join the RV world again. That in itself is good for the soul. Keep us updated and let us know how you are doing.

Well, I'm going to sign off and get cleaned up here. Hope you all have a wonderful Saturday out there.

Thank you Sue for your kind words and welcome back. I had a change of heart and edited the post. I did have an unfortunate thing happen but all of us have battles to fight from time to time. I didn't want to come across as 'woe is me' so I edited out that portion of it. For those who did read it and wished me well as I rebuild my life I am touched and many thanks. Sue you have had a lot happening in the past year or so and still much to do. From one who knows the hard work of moving, just be careful. You don't need a fall and don't lift too much...the back keeps score. It sounds like you have already done much of the work and you are still in good shape. I fell during my last move and was very lucky, no bones broken but I hurt my bad shoulder.
I stayed with the twins (elderly with altzheimers) last night..I am always relieved by a family member about 7 AM. I am having my coffee and orange juice now. Here's wishing all a good weekend.

Good morning! Another rainy day! Looks like the whole weekend is going to be a washout. At least yesterday I was able to get my front flower beds cleaned out. We decided to wait until next week to go into State College, have to work around friend's work schedule but really wanted to get something done around here. She gets lost when she tries to go over by herself thus I usually take her.

Lola came home yesterday! Jim and his dad were coming up this way anyway so he decided to drive her home and then go do what he needed to do. Everything is done now, inspection, generator serviced and all around check of systems. My friend's RV won't be ready until next week since he had to order new shocks for hers. Now I just need a couple of nice days to wash and wax her. I have the Wash 'n Wax All that I read here, don't remember who posted about it but decided to try it. So we shall see! Now if I could just find something to get the black off the roof. Any ideas? I'm sure it's been a topic here but can't seem to find it!

Well, time to get started around here. Today will be laundry and cleaning day since it's going to be an inside day today! Take care and have a wonderful day.

Good Morning All, Hi Nancy! Welcome back! Like what you said about watching out for the back! We must all be careful. Sorry about your sore shoulder. I have arthritis in one of my shoulders so can sympathize with you. Doc wants to do a shoulder replacement, but, no thanks. I will live with the pain of arthritis.
I practiced the backing up again yesterday. It went quite well, if I say so myself. The daughter is a good spotter.
Sun is coming out now...going to be a nice day. I am staying home as I am dog sitting my daughters dog today while she goes to a writers conference.
I am watching every single one of the softball games that I possibly can today! Martha, the Ragin Cajuns are doing very well! These girls are such good ball players...ALL of them.

Good Afternoon!

Nancy, so good to see you! I didn't see your post before you edited, but we gals are such good listeners to whatever is going on!

Sue, you are sort of keeping us all on pins and needles with your house deals. :) Exciting stuff! Lyn, glad to hear you are done with PT - means you are doing well! O'Sharon, what material is your roof? Rubber is known black spots. I believe Sandi was the first to mention Wash 'n Wax All tho others use it as well.

I changed the oil and air filter in the generator yesterday. Knew the genny was smelling when I ran it, but I thought it was dirt. Nope, it has an oil leak and not where I can see or get to it! Nearest repair place is 2 hours so will stop there on my way back from Denver. I'm afraid it won't be easy to get to and not a quick fix. I may be pushin' it to get to N.C. by the 31st. Between trailer and genny a lot of anxiety. I have already had thoughts of slowing down on the travel, but these two repairs may make that sooner rather than later.

My grandson came over to visit yesterday. Last night we went to grad reception of my cousin's daughter (it's her mother who caused the riff between my daughter and me). Graduation is tomorrow but these two go to different schools so my aunt and I can't do both!

Nice to see some of you are getting your rigs ready to roll after the winter!

I had to get to the post office before noon so I headed out and made a day of it. My son has a Costco card so I went with him to see the place. I don't think it's as big as Sam's but they have different stuff. I could have spent a day there looking at everything. Went by Ross and TJ Maxx. I wanted to go to Macy's but ran out of steam. I bought my sister's oldest granddaughter some shoes that were on clearance at Ross's. Now I'm going to have to think of something for the other two.

Lyn, I hear about the Ragin Cajuns on the local news. Guess I will have to pay more attention to the sports.
