Inspection Monday

Morning gals,

House inspection this morning. Inspector will be here at 10. Don't know if buyers are coming or not. I have done all I can to get ready, but my agent and I feel confident all will go well as my house is in good shape he says and I keep up with repairs. Having been at the other house inspection and he gave me a book in it too, I know what they check and went around making sure things were okay etc. Once buyers remove the inspection contingency, I can get on with serious packing.

But before you think I am going to let the suspense stop, I'm making a bid on my neighbor's house. She has a contingency offer on it, but I'm going full price. We already talked about it. Her son is my RE agent and hers as well. She feels that if I go full price, the others won't match it. Was over yesterday having tea and a piece of pie with her. She gave me a complete walk through and showed off her newly remodeled bathroom her other son did this winter. Wow, love. It. House is about 7-800 Sq. ft. Less than this, one on about same amount of property, but less in grass as most is woods. Plenty of room for new fence etc. and RV's :D also three years older than mine and is turn key. So I'm going to keep you hanging for awhile  Pat, I'm so sorry about your mom. Like the others said, rest up when you can. After having stayed with my mom under hospice care till she passed, I have a feeling your mom's spirit was already leaving when you went to see her and she asked why you were there. She was probably already making that transition to a better place. My mom called out for my aunt and at times would be talking in a language we could not understand in her sleep. I truly believe that the he lord was calling her home at that point and she was seeing her sister and others.

Miss Molly and I are off to the vet specialist this morning and Miss Piper is going along for the ride as need to get her out of here. Will be here for about half after inspector comes, but am just going to ignore it and let him do his thing. Not sure where rest of day is going.

Off to check FB and emails etc. so y'all have a nice day.

Good morning ladies
Sorry for Pat to lose her mom
Sue, hope the house thing goes well.
Only 8 more school days!!!
Worked on the motorhome yesterday,
bought a new battery charger and before
I came back to the valley we had some
clicking finally as we turn the key. A good
overnight charge should do the trick.
Nothing else to mention, y'all have a
great day and be safe.

Good morning. The sun is shining this morning, better then yesterday's weather. It was a weird day. I think mother nature threw everything she could at us! Rain, sun, sleet and cold! Crazy day!

Pat, so sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. Take care of yourself. Sandi, loved the pics of all the flowers. Looks like you are having a good time!
Sue, good luck with the inspection today, doesn't sound like it'll be much of a problem. Hope the house next door works out for you. And hope the vet appointment goes okay today. And Alice, just a few more days and you'll be free for the summer!

Not much exciting planned for today. Need to run to the post office to send some family stuff to my sis. She's busy trying to build a family tree and I have some information from our dad that I need to share with her. She apparently found out that our maternal great grandmother was born here in PA. It gets more and more interesting as she digs back.

So, guess I should get my day started! Hope you all have a good day and travel safe.

Good morning, all. Rained off and on all yesterday, mostly on. Still raining. Sprinkler system doesn't have a rain sensor, so I need to turn it off. Already watered while it rained this morning. New glasses are ready to pick up at Costco. Need a dollar store run for sponges and paper towels and who knows what else. I do love the dollar store for retail therapy. Plastic containers are the best. Grocery for cream for morning coffee, washed baby salad greens and tomatoes. Tomatoes make me think of Louise. Matty's allergy symptoms are back, so now I know that the Apaquel (sp) was working and allergies are causing the hair loss and wheezing. Makes me sad for the little guy. He's become the most wonderful friend for Olive and lap dog for me.

Sue, hope your inspection goes well and good luck with offer on neighboring house. Pat, ongoing prayers for you and yours. Ava, glad school is almost out for you. Sandi and Liz, thanks for the beautiful pics.

Guess I better get moving. Is my turn signal still on?

Only 8 more school days! Yay, Ava! Fun is coming!

Pat, I'm so sorry for your loss. That's the hard part of loving someone, isn't it? Take very good care of yourself right now.

Remember I said I wasn't going to buy anything at that antiques market? It's all good, though. I found a nice grate for the hot air vent that is the right period for this old house, an antique tennis racquet to give a friend who collects them, and a tiny stone horse. The horse was intended for a second friend, but right now it's lying next to my computer, and it looks really happy there . . .

Quick errands today, then garden and fence. Goodness -- fence project, garden hardscaping, two new art projects, two new writing projects -- life is getting exciting again!

Pat, sorry to hear about your mother. It's hard even when you know it's coming.

Sue, hope the inspection goes well. That would be an easy move if you get the house next door.

Louise, I seldom go in antique or thrift stores except when I'm with some of my camping friends. Most have vintage trailers so are always looking for "glamping" stuff. I guess I have gone from horse things to cat things. The last trip I bought a cat trivet, like I needed that.

The vet gave Annie a shot for allergies at her last check up. She was scratching until her ears had bumps and scabs under her neck. Her skin cleared right up after the shot. I see she is chewing on her feet again. I guess she is allergic to cats. I don't think she can have a shot every month and I don't know what else she could have.

Yesterday I decided to go fishing in the pond. For a while I didn't think there were any fish in there. I finally caught 2 catfish, 2 perch, a 4 inch bass and a 10 inch bass. I hooked one of the big bass and he straightened out my hook. I probably need to take a few of the big bass out of there. I can see them zooming around the pond like torpedoes.

The rain is almost here from Texas. It is just off shore. It would be nice if it would stay off shore but I don't think it will. The neighbor sprayed one of his small pens and killed all the grass. He has been watering it for 2 days. They are predicting we could get 5 inches of rain so I don't think he needs to be watering. I don't think that grass is coming back no matter how much water it gets.

Martha, more on the way. Forecast is for thunderstorms most of the coming week. Supposed to be a whopper tomorrow night.
