Hang in there, at least you're singing! Sorry ou had to cancel the ear procedure, Velda. But understand your reasoning, a shame you practically need to be a doctor to figure things out. A new world. What happened to the days when your doctor was there to really help you?

I managed to get some vacuuming done yesterday but somehow got into a cupboard in the dining room and thaat was the end of the cleaning! But now I need a couple more boxes for the stuff I'm getting rid of! So it wasn't a total failure! All because I wanted to get rid of a fryer I never use! Don't know why I even thought of it right then!

So that's about it! Ava, not good news about your car. And Barbie, good to get get off the ground! Have a good day and travel safe.

Car will be done today and I'll be safe on the road and $1100 poorer. Will pick it up
Monday and return the rental.
I do see a new car in my future but not now.

Long past morning but first chance I've had to post. After a sunny Wednesday, I decided to join the gathering in Bandera. I really wanted to meet Martha and see Birdie and Colleen and others again. I finally met Diana, too. Left Thursday morning and drove through a rainstorm the whole way! Oh well, it was worth it to hang out with everyone and meet new people. A word of warning: Martha's sister Pat calls a mean game of Bingo. I leave tomorrow morning and am so glad I came.
