Good morning! Looks like the rain is finally moving into my area. We need some so no complaint here! Had a nice afternoon with my SIL yesterday. We went to Altoona and hit our favorite store then had a late lunch and visit. She has made a decision to move to MA to be with her daughter. It's a very good thing for her and although I'm happy for her, I'm also sad to see her go. We've been through so much together the last 10 years she's lived here. Hard to imagine her not being close by. But I'm glad to see her finally truly retire and be able to enjoy her life. Funny how life changes.

I need to slog through the house today and get some vaccuming and dusting done. Since I was outside so much this week it's time to spend some time inside! So not much else happening here so I'll just wish you all a good day and hope those on the road have good weather and safe travels.

Good morning from Ohio! I am at my son's house for my granddaughter's birthday this weekend. That means I have had to fly east twice in the last three weeks, and the experiences have reminded me how much I prefer my motorhome. I had hurt my back on the Monument Valley tour with all the bouncing around on the tour truck. The uncomfortable airline seats made it even worse yesterday, so last night I could barely get in and out of bed. Took a painkiller at 2:30 in the morning and that helped me sleep, at least. Headed to urgent care this morning as soon as my son gets back from taking the youngest child to the doctor.

Nice to see Spring coming to this part of the country, but I do miss my home on wheels!

Decided not to start coffee this morning as pot is packed away Don't drink the stuff so may as well put it in a box. Damp and chilly here this morning, but needed the rain as fire danger was very high. Now for some sun. Had to laugh at your having to clean house Sharon. I would love to get out of having to do mine everyday in one form or another, but.... Sorry to hear your SIL is moving, but hey, you will have an excuse to get Lla on the road then. Moving seems to be he "in" thing this year.

Nothing doing here. Same ol'. Got rid of a little scrap metal yesterday. Wallet is $5 richer Used oil is outta her too. Going to town later. Think I will get a hanging pot to put out by door to breezeway and dress it up a bit. Can bring it in at night.

Judy, think a chiropractor would be more beneficial than urgent care.

Good morning. Slept in this morning, felt nice!
Was supposed to be sunny this morning but not yet. Maybe later.

Meeting the woman who is buying my little tent shortly here so that will put some extra money in my pocket. I can get a few camping things I still need with that, like a cot to get me off the ground.

Judy, I took a desert jeep ride once when I was staying in Scottsdale many years ago and they are not for sissies! It was a very rough ride and I sure felt it! And I was in my 20's then!

Nothing much else going on here, so hoping you all have a great day where ever you are!

Good Morning, think there are a few minutes left of it Just thought I would check in and let those who don't know that I am back home. Rainy day today, but I managed to get dirty clothes, linens etc. out of RV before the rain today, so that is my project for this rainy morning. Many things to do here, but will get it done in time. I had a great time in Ocala, the 5 days I was there, had generator serviced etc. , plus my nice wash and wax. The company was the best though Nice trip home, thoroughly enjoyed it, leaving from Ocala, could only make a 2 day trip out of it that is only a wee over 200 miles each day, and after being almost idle this winter, I needed to do those miles and see the scenery.

I was surprised when I walked into the house here, that it looked great, forgot that I made every effort before leaving to run vacuum through and nothing was laying anywhere and the table was totally cleared off. Thinking maybe some orderly person took up residents while I was gone this winter That table is always cluttered!!

Well, think drier has quit and don't like things to wrinkle, so I am home, its raining and I'm busy that's the Jest of my news this morning. Have a great day everyone !!

It's a rainy morning in my part of California too. Might put on a good pot of soup. We cancelled Mel's ear procedure after some research on the swelling (lymph edema) he has from Sept surgery. Decided its better to find a way to treat cause rather than poke a hole in the symptom. Trying to find a certified lymph edema drainage level specialist. Also called UCD patient relations to tell them I'm tired of having to do the work of a university level cancer treatment center. We had asked the Dr Tuesday how about treating the lymph edema and his answer was probably out there you'll have to look around! Gotta get to Curves soon. Then see what I can get into after. Have a good weekend all.

Well good morning ladies, ahhhhhh Friday!!
Took my car in for repairs yesterday, not good news on that. The leak
caused damage to the axel bearings and a few other things, unfortunately
my savings account will take a big hit from my summer fun funds, but I am
grateful the $$$ are there and there will still be some leftover, so, not broke.
Called Enterprise for a rental yesterday, got a special weekend rate....$62 and
due back on Monday.
One last hot day and then we're getting a cooling trend. Makes me happy as I'm not
ready for any summer temperatures just yet. Actually, I won't be ready until I can leave
it all behind
Off to get some chores done. Enjoy your day and be safe.

Good Afternoon... I hope to be back once a week from now on.. Do not know what has been happening so will start from here and go forward... I just saw a great RV lady drive away headed to her sisters... Carolb is a dear and she will do most anything that you ask her... She is around in many parts of the country spreading ferry dust on all she comes in contact with!!! Love that lady for sure...

My life in my condo is going good... had two kittens but sadly Little Sister died vet said underdeveloped liver... Her sister Princess would not use the litter box so she also went back to the rescue place... CISAR no kill shelter... when the spring kittens come in I will pick out two and try again... No winter travels for me... but we had a mild winter so was not bad... I am sort of isolated so do not even know if it is raining or snowing... It is a bit chilly today... got spoiled with the warm spell we had but that is springtime in Illinois...

So nice to see many old friends posting... I trust everyone will have a good weekend...

Hey Kathy, good to "see" you! Condo living sure is strange, isn't it. I like ours, but it is so different from owning a freestanding home. Always thought I was mellow until I had to deal with neighbors top and sides, I'm becoming reclusive so I don't have to interact with them very much.

Good Afternoon from WET Washington State,

I left Arizona Monday. Tried to keep up with things on here a bit. With the head cold, I was so tired by the time I stopped each day, there were no brains left.

Daughter will pick me up later to go to her house.

Here it is, Friday evening....too many blogs to read. I had my PT yesterday. Passed the tests with gold stars...then she gave me three more exercises to do...ouch is all I can say. The most difficult is " marching in place". Some of the exercises are quite easy/simple for me. Bending that knee up is agonizing.
That's all I do...exercise, rest, ice, walk the dog then start the whole thing over again. Is that a song?

Keep hanging in there Lyn, it will get easier and better. You will be glad you did this when you are out on the road! Look forward to when you pass through my town again.
