Morning,

Gonna be a great day here again. Temps into mid 60's. Perfect. Snow is melting and should be gone in a day or two. Will be working in yard by tomorrow. Unless I get a call for a showing or something. I washed the windows out side yesterday and now they really sparkle. And the dogs and i enjoyed a nice spring weather walk for a change.

Cheryl, the vents I replaced were just covers over my dryer vent and another air vent on the side of the house. No big deal there. Just unscrew the old one and screw on the new. Will be same with the ones in the soffits overhead. Just minor stuff really. Also need to replace a piece of door trim along my garage back service door. Will buy the trim, cut to size and nail in. Then all I will have left is to go around and touch up some areas in need of paint and physical house is done. Might get somebody over to give it a powerwashing or might not. Will hose down the porch and wash the railings off this weekend as well. You get the drift I am going to be busy  Hey, it's been a long wait to get outdoors and do some outside work for a change :)

But the main focus of today is taking Miss Molly down to an Opthomologist vet who comes up this way, to have him look at her eyes and see what's causing them to turn blue.My vet is stumped after running some tests, blood work etc. and due to the blue haze can't look into them to see if cataracts. I doubt there are as she doesn't seem to be having trouble seeing. So hopefully he can give me a diagnosis. But first going to run vac, clean kitchen floor and make sure house looks good just in case some call comes for a showing.

Enough jabbering for this morning. Hope you all have a nice day and a great weekend. Those heading out for the first trip of the season, have fun.

Gmorning Sue & all to follow :)

More spring weather--hooray! Lovely here in MO. Sue, specialist will check for glaucoma? I had a dog who had that in one eye when he was not even a year old. Same symptoms of blue haze, but also very red "white" of the eye. Anyway, hope you find out Moll's problem.

SIL is the best! She's getting us massages today for our very achy bodies from doing all the yard work! Yesterday, I couldn't lift a shovelful of dirt LOL Crikey, & this a.m., head/sinuses flowing like a river! Allergies :( But enjoying all the beautiful blooms that have come on strong in the 2 wks I've been here:)

Friday, & Alice, off to see honey bear? Those still working, ready to enjoy a fine weekend? Martha, on the road yet? BJ, I'm not going to make it to southern IL this weekend. Maybe gtg during the week, meet halfway between my sis's & your place?

Y'all have a great day 8-)

Good Friday morning! Another sunny day and warmer temps. Loving it! I mowed the yard yesterday, I knew it was long but was also thick! I suppose I should have bagged the grass but just didn't think it was that bad! Now instead of dragging in mud the boys are dragging in grass!

CarolB, a massage sounds so nice! Haven't had one in awhile but may need one by the time I get done with my yard! I think I'm going to get rid of some of the flower beds and let them go back to grass. Much easier to take care of. Donna, sounds like you are settling in. Your little patio area sounds nice and manageable! Sue, I hope the vet can figure out what's going on with Molly's eyes.

I couldn't figure out why my eyes were burning yesterday when I was outside but then DS told me they were doing some controlled burns in our area over the next few days. By late afternoon I could smell it and see the haze. Not sure if today will be more of the same.

Coffee is on but my cups empty so think it's time to get moving. As my grandmother used to say...make hay while the sun shines! Hope you all have a great day and travel safe.

Good Morning.
I haven't checked in in a while so thought I'd better see what all of you have been up to lately.
I had an early morning vampire appointment today. Got that out of the way and now I can have some coffee. Really hate fasting blood work appointments; I'm one of those people who really needs coffee before dealing with the outside world.
I'm still feeling subpar mostly due to allergies. Started shots two weeks ago but cannot tell any difference yet. In the meantime beginning to get cabin fever from staying mostly indoors
.Need to try to accomplish something today, not sure what that will be yet.
We've had a lot of rain but the forecast for weekend is looking good. Also it seems spring will finally be beating winter away for good this time.
Have a good day.

Good Morning from Salome, AZ

I have no idea when I was here last! Great time at Disneyland with daughter except for the head cold I have. Think that's thanks to a man who insisted on talking while standing in the drizzle! I was only trying to load the SS before the drizzle started! Ah, I remember now - that was probably why I slept at the table after my visit with Catherine!

Stopped to see Sharon at her new place - love it. Unfortunately, the weather nixed our motorcycle plans, but we still had a good time!

Glad to see some GTGs still happening - I think it has been a great year for that. Lyn, glad to see your post and look forward to an update. Sue, maybe I should pretend the camper is for sale so I wouldn't have a mess in here all the time! Carolb, massage sounds heavenly! CArol, safe travels home! Glad Soos is on the mend, but PattyK is on my mind.

Wind is blowing and dirt is flying so I'll work inside. Have to make room for whatever I need to put in here from storage. I leave Monday for Washington State. Not looking forward to the weather up there :(

Make the most of your day and safe travels!

Good morning (barely tho!)! :D

Sunny and another gorgeous day (hopefully less windy tho! ). Mid 70's expected for the next couple weeks here! Yay! Buds are starting to pop on some trees now. Will be nice and green soon!

Checked into 5 more places to rent off CL but haven't heard anything back yet. Need to figure something out soon before my landlord rents my place and I end up out on the street! May end up staying here for the summer and finding a part time office job to make up for the hours I am cutting back at work.

Hope everyone is doing well. Sounds like Soos is back home and getting lots of good care and food from her kids. Lynn, hope you are healing up quickly too! I am still gonna try to get out there this next year so will need a tour guide for downtown SD!

Have a good one!
