Cloudy on Wednesday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Cloudy on Wednesday

Morning all,

Carolb, glad to see yo have returned from being AWOL and even started coffee yesterday. Hope you have an enjoyable trip back toward home. Peggy, see you are now back in CT and sounds like you had a great winter. BJ, sorry about the genny. Seems some of you, Beth, Liz, O'Sharon are dealing with wind issues and even a little snow. Beth, hard to believe you are trekking north already.

I'm waiting for our local lawn equip place to pick up my lawn tractor for spring servicing and then plan to work In garage, doing a little cleaning up. Otherwise not much in agenda. Waiting to hear from Real Estate agent. Was out of town so will meet with me sometime this week probably.

Taxes are done, so that's out of my way , had Molly's eyes checked yesterday as they have a bluish haze over the lens. Vet determined after exam and blood tests that it is caused from play. Probably banged her head into something. Like us getting a bruise. So have eye drops to clear them up and take out the inflammation. Go back for follow up next week. She wants to check for cateracts and possible other things in the eyes but can't see through the lens at the moment. Hasn't slowed those two down at all

So guess I will get a move on here. Hope you all have a nice day. Be safe on the roads and in the weather.

Postby grammynmaggie » Wed Mar 30, 2016 8:16 am

Good morning everyone I guess I'm the first one up in there... I did not get much sleep last night I went to bed at 10 o'clock woke up at 12:30 and been awake ever since... I convinced my dad that I need to clean out the garage get some stuff ready for a yard sale not sure when that will be but anyway he has so much stuff in there that's old he had some old fluorescent light bulbs that he's had for approximately 40 years he does not have a fluorescent light in his house and hasn't had things like that we need to get rid of them I told him it was going to be too hard for me to do later because I would have no help my sister is unable to help me physically do anything... I told him I needed to get some of my stuff in the garage it's in the Florida room if a hurricane comes along it will be blowing all over the neighborhood and Beyond... so I guess I will be working more on that today and helps me get my stuff organized also... I will be doing an update on Pheebe and I will be sure and post it here..
I should go over and start more crafting items for the church Bazaar with the ladies but I'm too tired to do it I have to think and I don't feel like thinking. Lol.. have a good day&B safe...Donna PS I did another blog post last night if you want to take a look

Good morning! Just got back a bit ago from getting my hair cut so figured I could get in right under the wire! Yep, Sue, we sure had wind for a couple of days. My back driveway is full of little branches from the neighbors trees. Mother Nature pruning, I guess! So guess what I need to do!? It was cold this morning when I left so I hauled out the heavy coat but this afternoon is supposed to be up in the 60's. Never know what to wear! guess layers and peel off as needed!

Hoping CarolB can stay behind the storms coming across! Beth, has the wind slowed down for you? Loved  reading your blog posts. That really is pretty country. Barbie, hope your shoulder is getting better.

Well, not much else here to report! Need to get out on clean up after the dogs since tomorrow is garbage day and it looks like the weather is really going to turn in the next few days and I won't be able to do it. Kinda waiting to see if SIL gets her car back to see if she wants to run this afternoon. I didn't do all that I needed to do yesterday so today is probably the better day to do it. TAke care all and travel safe.

Good morning
No wind today, I'm so grateful for that! Daughters bday today, dropped off a card and gift, she's having a spa day today. That sounds fun!
Will be an easy afternoon at work, only two high schoolers to take home and only one elementary. That doesn't happen very often. Have a hair appt tomorrow during my break and then after work hopefully will be having dinner with a couple of the girls.
We actually had some cold temps last night, I had the furnace on. Continue to purge
stuff out of the shed as I have acquired too much and when I move to Superior,,,,,well
we just don't need all this extra.
Not much else going on, y'all have a great day and be safe.

Good Morning All, We had a very nice rain shower this morning at 6 AM while I was out walking Casey! We both got wet, however, I love the rain and Casey does not!
Fun time showing Judyjb around town on Sunday. Only problem was all the people who got in our way! Easter Day not a good day to go site-seeing.
Had very good lunch in Coronado.
I an loving all the pictures on each persons blog. Tina, you lost and got back ANOTHER camera?!? Donna, the SandHill cranes with babies was the best picture of them all...but Phoebe is pretty cute also! Sounds like you are making good progress with her. She and my GGson share a birthday. I hope to get to Fl to share some of that delicious food.
Barbie, sore shoulders are no fun..hope yours are feeling better. Sue, your plans for getting a new house sound great.
Friday is the big day for me...Lyn

If anyone is missing the wind it has made it to Louisiana. We have a tor com of 4 for tornados, what ever that is. It looks like most of the bad weather is North of us.

Our water heater hasn't been working like it use to for a while. This morning my son decided he was going to change the heating elements. When he took off the bottom panel it is all rusted so need a new water heater. We went to Lowe's but all they have in stock are the ones with a 6 year warrantee and we want one with a 12 year. Of course that has to be ordered. I hope the heater holds out for another week or we will be taking showers in the camper.

Donna, can you sneak a few thing into the trash every week without your dad noticing? I cleaned a lot out of our old house by finishing filling up the trash can every week. It was slow but got a lot thrown away.
