Gmorning all:)

I figure some easterner is writing as I type, so I'm not stressing over a good subject line ;) So I've been awol again & catching up. Missed wishing y'all a happy Easter, so a late wish now.

JudyB, you can't go wrong gtging with Catherine & Lyn--we gotta get Catherine retired! Lyn is the best at showing you the town:) Donna, good to see you again--I'm waiting to hear how much Phee has improved. Did I miss it, or is it posted elsewhere?

Started my eastward trek yesterday after such a great time with Alice & old friends. I even got to spend a day/night with Alice at her honey bear's in Superior. She got herself a real gem:)!

Petrified Forest & Painted Desert today. Very windy, but it will be a leisurely drive through the parks.

Y'all have a great day & be safe always 8-)

Sunny and cool here, waiting for the A/C man to come for annual service. I should call the people who work on generator but think it is such a piece of junk I'm might as well forget it. We bought it right after the big storm in '08 and guess they were just throwing them together back then with parts from several different companies. Good to see you check in Carol. I would love to see San Diego with Lyn but again maybe best to remember it the way it was in 1985.
Seems like I am busy all the time but nothing really fun to report. It seems to take so much time just to keep up with keeping up. I am looking forward to going to the Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard concert in early April!!!

I pretty much hibernated with the winds yesterday. Now they are hanging around again today with gusts around 45 mph still. Need to do laundry, but since it's another non-travel day, probably won't do much else.

Carolb, was hoping you'd still be in Phoenix. Looks like I'll just be missing you! Will get in that area tomorrow.

A little windy and cold here today. Snow and even colder predicted up in the mts. at King's Canyon NP, so canceled my plan to drive up there today. Going to have a nice brisk walk with Thistle in the cg and then do a trip to Walmart. I'll check the weather and see if tomorrow is feasible for King's Canyon.

Good morning all! Good to see your post, Carol! Hope you are watching the weather east of you, not looking good across the mid section. And sounds like the wind was an issue for everyone yesterday. We had high winds all day and some rain too. I don't like wind, never have and never will, I guess. I just know if I was out with Lola I would have pulled off somewhere and not moved all day! I have to go out this afternoon to go into town to get the car serviced and its picking up again but not supposed to be as bad as yesterday. Plus I need to do some grocery shopping since I'll be out and about. But the good thing is the sun is out so that makes up for it all! Beth and Liz, sounds like you both changed plans due to the weather! Tomorrow is another day!

Not much else to report here. Just hope everyone has a good day and if you are on the road, travel safe.

Good morning
I'm starting the 5th day of 3 hours sleep per night. Needless to say, not functioning on all cylinders.
Just got call back from Allergy Center about starting shot therapy - next Monday earliest appointment so I took it.
Dentist appointment next week also to see if she can save the tooth that lost a filling while I was in FL. Sure am feeling fortunate that it has not caused any pain.
The only major accomplishments I've made since getting home are paying bills and meeting with CPA on taxes. Tops of all the yard drains were completely clogged. Tried to clear one but allergies too bad; got someone else to come finish that task.
A beautiful weather day and with all the spring flowers and trees blooming I want to be out to enjoy. Sadly cannot handle the excessive pollen levels. Major rain forecast for late Wed into Thurs (2 to 4 ") might help clear the air for a few hours.
Have to do a couple of errands today so will get out briefly.
Have a great day.

Happy Tuesday! :D

Today is my daughter, Naomi's 15th birthday! Looking forward to our annual visit soon (don't know when yet). She is on Spring Break this week so she is probably in some warm, exotic place having a great time!

Just got back from taking my dad to the doctor. He got a clean bill of health after his physical. Then we stopped at his church. They now have a Columbarium to keep ashes and put up a memorial plaque on a wall. So he wanted to buy a "niche" there for when he passes to place his ashes there. That will save us a lot of money and time down the road.

It is warm and sunny here today with a light breeze. Very nice out! Supposed to cloud up later on and then get a ton of rain over the next couple days. We need that tho. I went out to the back yard yesterday and discovered they already put the docks in. The lake is low but will come up some with the rain. Hopefully, my shoulder will be healed up in time to go kayaking and golfing in a month or so!

BJ, I am so jealous of you seeing Willie and Merle next month!! I saw Willie and Waylon at the MN State Fair many years ago.

Gonna take a nap and then do some laundry.

Have a good day and stay safe on the roads!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Little less windy so not so cold at Safari Park today. Busy but not so crowded either but next year want to come back in May and avoid spring break and tons of kids.

Need to get caught up on blog.
