Happy Valentine's Day everyone. Flowers and chocolate is the word for today. Course if you don't have anyone to give you flowers, there's alway the Chocolate, Right! :D Today is break the diets day and have some chocolate. It's also day 3 of puppy recuperation and we are up bright and early, the girls have been out, taken care of business, separately of course and had a brief little playtime here, dragging a shoe around. Nap time now. Would be nice if we had a sleep day but ha. Molly was so hyped yesterday that I was ready to set up my pen and throw her in it, Piper made up for her lost day by dragging everything she could out. Like kids, I went behind her picking it up  She's also been peeing a lot, but I'm thinking it's post surgery stuff. No accidents last night but did let her out a couple of times.

Sounds like veryone's keeping warm whether inside or in in areas where temps are warm. Hardee GTG is having great weather, great food, great company from report I got last night. Campfires too. Velda, so glad to hear Mel is getting some taste buds back. Prayers that all is well on next scan. You two have been through so much. Judy's enjoying where she is, Liz and company still having fun, Barb hope things turn around for you, that you get that FICO score up.

Off to wash my hair as got all sweaty doing snow removal yesterday. Love clearing that nice fluffy white stuff as the blowers just throw it so well. Beautiful morning to have done it too. Word is 40 degrees by end of next week. Ya all have a great day. Enjoy your chocolates :D

Morning, Sue and all who follow. This is just too funny. I left the last of a chocolate bar on the counter last night. First thing this morning, I popped it into my mouth. Chocolate for breakfast! Felt guilty then read Sue's post. Absolved! Thank you, Sue. Happy Valentine's Day to all. Stay warm and safe.

Hi gals! I celebrate V Day the day after by buying chocolate half price! Lol!

Snowing and windy today but no accumulation expected. Will be warming up now with temps in the 40's by midweek. :D

Slow day at work so far. Could make for a long day

Sounds like the FL GTG is off to a great start. Have fun gals!

Good morning and Happy Valentines Day! Thanks Sue for the thoughts on Mel. I hear him happily tapping with his hammer on his new hobby with making rings from coins. It's so good to see him doing something besides lay in bed.
Chocolate and half price works for me, ESP since I prefer the 85% variety. Just don't care as much for the real sweet stuff anymore. Saw a segment the other day on Oz which said choose at least 70%eat ago for health benefits so I'm good to go since I like 85 %! I find the higher the number, the small the serving which satisfies my chocolate craving.
Have to look up Jerome to see what it offers, or I can just wait for the love birds report !
I have a few beautiful pink rosebuds on my bush the "boys" here planted for Mothers Day many years ago so that is my Valentines flowers. And I don't have to remember to water them either! :D
Another sunny day to remind me why I like my home state. But rain visits again late in week or so the weather people said.
Have a good day all. Don't shovel too much snow and hug the pups and kitties for me everyone.
Velda

Good Morning. Still working on cleaning out my cupboards in the kitchen, found lots of things that were outdated, way outdated so out they went. Lots more room now in the cupboard. Organized my spices and various salad dressings. Got some sappy Hallmark show on tv LOL I am just listening to it.

Used my NuWave oven again last night. Did baked potato, yam, chicken thighs and a steak. Found out that I have to play with the time factor depending on the meat. The chicken thighs were fairly thin so got a bit overcooked. Will cut back on the time next time. The steak came out perfect but I cut the time in half as I like mine rare. It came out bleeding and mooing just the way I like it, except I am not a big steak fan in general but it was tasty. So far I like the oven but it does have a bit of a learning curve. I am not baking anything in it because I am watching my calories. I ate the leftover chicken and steak for lunch, also the other half of the baked potato and yam so dinner will be salad LOL Meatloaf tomorrow or meatballs haven't decided yet.

Hope everyone having a great St Valentines day. The dog and I are about ready for a Netflix movie.

A quick Happy Valentine wish to all.
Others have posted some photos of our gathering on FB. Since none of them are willing to fight Photobucket, I will try to get at least a few pix posted on forum this before the week is over. We are having a great time and of course a lot of good food, enjoying wonderful company and many laughs.
Even the weather is cooperating reasonably well - a little on the chilly side and quite breezy - but not too bad to be outside a while each day. A little rain forecast for tomorrow evening into Tuesday morning but from there it is bright sunshine and warmer temps! I'm so ready for that.[
Karen - I cleaned out two little cabinets in Magic. Shameful that I found quite a bit of expired item to part with so they are much neater at least for a few days.
