Sunday mornin comin down

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Sunday mornin comin down

A very gray morning here in Mazatlan. Going to be very humid day Dew Point 66 humidity 86 - just rain already, but none in sight.
I'm surprised no one has opened MC yet. We have delicious Mexican pastries and coffee. So come on over.
Nothing cooking though - out to breakfast maybe.
Lots going on with everyone out there. We keep looking at puppies - they are so cute - but to be truthful I just don't want the responsibility of one.
We've been enjoying Mexico as always. Renewing our friendships. I think we have more friends here than at home. I posted a blog about red and yellow underwear traditions here in Mexico. I wondered why so may store were displaying it. Decorating Christmas trees with it - Interesting.
Yesterday we went to the lovely little town of El Quelite about 25 miles from Mazatlan. I took over 140 pictures!
A good morning and day to you all.

Good Morning, Carol! The East Coast gals must be sleeping in today! Unusual for this So.Cal. gal to beat them. Thanks for the coffee offer - I don't have anything but frozen pastries to go with. Sounds like you are very, very happy to be back in Mexico again. We could sure use a bit of that sunny heat. It's been pretty cold here (cold for us at least). Keep those posts coming. I'm enjoying the journey through your eyes.

Good Morning ladies,

So nice of you gals to start coffee this morning. Yep, the east coast gals indeed must be sleeping in. I for one was up bright and early but then went to Mass, the store and now am home enjoying see a bit of sun for change. Supposed to be a mix of clouds and sun for awhile today before clouding over and rain showers moving in for late tonight into tomorrow. We have about 4 inches of snow on the ground here from the lake effect of the past couple of days, but with temps warming up and r  ain expected this week, I suspect it or most of it will be gone by Christmas.

Did see some sad news on FB this morning. For those of you who aren't on FB, CArol posted that she has lost her beloved Maggie.. She did not post any details but just wanted to let all her friends know. I"m sure that in time she will tell us the story. And Sandi, hugs to you as well as you mentioned you were losing your beloved friend too. I know that those of us who have or have lost furry companions feel for you two  .

Otherwise nothing to report for today. Have a blessed Sunday everyone.

Good morning
Coffee was great this morning with a couple of cereal bars followed by a few pieces of chocolate. Waiting for it to warm up so I can get a nice hot bath. At least the sun is shining, and later on I'll get out there and enjoy it. That's the only plans I have for today.
Y'all enjoy your day

Afternoon now... came home from church to see the sad news Sandi had... it breaks my heart to see our friends go through such a loss... CArol also is suffering... I could not help but cry for their loss... our head knows it was for the best but our hearts ache...
Christmas is nearing... so many things planned for this week... will be tuckered out by the end of the weekend... lol
Have a good day my friends....

Good evening. Hope everyone has had a great day. We went to church today and there was a beautiful cantata. I've been busy with Dave's mom but she is doing really well.
So sorry to hear about everyone 's loss. It's never easy and around the holidays makes it even harder, I think.
Looking forward to my visit with Alice this week. I'm sure fun will be had.
Take care and know that I do think of everyone even if I don't post often. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all!

OK, I am really pushing it here, almost midnight! Coffee nightcap?

The lake finally froze over the night before last. Think that is about the latest it has ever frozen. No snow tho. Supposed to be in the mid to upper 30's all week and rain on Wednesday. So strange! Even the ski resorts are still closed.

Been very busy at work now with Christmas around the corner. Good for tips tho!

Sophie is a crazy kitten! She has a million mouse toys and balls to play with but instead chooses to pull turds out of the litter box and bat those around! :o I clean the box every day but she still finds enough to play with before I get home from work. What a crazy cat! She also loves to drink water from the faucets so I bought her a fountain water bowl. She just looked at it and walked away unimpressed. Lola is afraid of it and won't drink from it, so now I have it unplugged. Just a very expensive water bowl now!

Just tried to make cinnamon toast under the broiler in my oven (which I hardly ever use) and got a really strong smell of burning plastic. Had to open the windows and run the fans for awhile with the hallway door open. Not sure what that is from. Nothing plastic in the oven or around it. Will have to talk to the owner about that. Had some problems with it earlier. May have to get a new one. My eyes are still burning!

Had a nice date the other night with the guy I went to the State Fair with last August. We went to see "A Walk In The Woods" with Robert Redford and Nick Nolte. It was really good! I was surprised how soon it was over since I was really enjoying it! I guess the book is really good too. Based on a true story about two older guys who hike the Appalachain (sp)Trail. Beautiful scenery!

Better get to bed. Busy day tomorrow at work!

Sorry to hear about the loss of pups this week! So hard to deal with! They take a piece of us with them. :(
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
