Good morning Donna and all others,

I am so glad you are seeing some nice sunny days, Donna. Isn't it funny how when we fix a leak somewhere then it doesn't rain again so we can see if it's fixed or not?

Did a bit too much cookouts yesterday. MIL, friend Daun, Ron and I all had bbq ribs at noon and had a lovely time. Later DH invited his sister over to make "pies" on our campfire and have hot dogs. His sister couldn't figure out how we were going to cook pies on the campfire till we showed her our pie irons and let her make her own pie. She loved it and said she's going to Menard's to get some irons for herself now!

New client's horses and donks are getting pretty used to me by now and aren't giving me any problems. One donk is very shy and wouldn't let me take off her fly mask til I cornered her but now she's letting me handle her better. Still a little shy so I spend some time scratching her itchy places which she likes. The horses are very beautiful, they are halter show horses and they all have beautiful shiny coats that gleam in the sun. Only problem is that out of 5 horses, 4 are the same color! And 2 go out in one pasture and 2 go out in another and it's tough to remember who is who let alone where they go! LOL But I'm figuring it out all right with the help of a handy stall chart the owner made me.

We are invited over to friends' house for lunch today so I better get going. Still need to clean my own stalls and I want to get Angel's rear window caulked before I have to get ready to go.

Everyone enjoy your day,
Kathy

Ha, I see Ava sneaked in while I was composing my post, good morning to you!
Any day spent in the company of my animals is a good day.

Good morning ladies! Gotta work today  .

Yesterday turned out OK after the camper fiasco. Went kayaking for 3 hours on the lake dodging boats but it was fun. Checked out some little lagoons and marshy areas too. Love my kayak! It glides so smooth and is so easy to paddle. It started out so hot and muggy with no wind in the morning but got drier and breezier by noon so was much more comfortable!

Went to a little party at one of the neighbors in the evening and then had a friend/client come over to watch fireworks from the dock later on. Was a beautiful night out there!

Have a good day! :D
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
