Mornin' ladies ~~~
Raining here
again Heard the other day the long term forecast for July & August is below average temps, which is OK with me as long as the rain would stop. Wish we could send some out west for the wild fires.
Glad Sue made it home safe but bummer that she now has to deal with repairs to the TT. Kathy, how was the maiden voyage in AG? Need to catch up on Tina's blog, see horses mentioned in the title
but will have to wait until lunch time reading.
Gotta run - have a good day ladies & stay safe on the road.

Sorry about all the rain Donna. I think we in northern Michigan are having some of the best weather in the country right now. Partly cloudy skies, temps in mid to upper 70's, gentle breezes. Couldn't ask for better. Rain possible for tomorrow afternoon and Wednesday, but that's all. Weekend looking great.
Taking my trailer over to get the damage repairs under way this morning. Don't know how long it will be gone. Did find that my water pump is okay.
GTG in IN is starting to attract interest. No dates set yet, but in Sept. Need feedback from those who might like to GTG in Shipshewana or maybe Pokagon State Park with trip to Shipshewana from there. Take a look at GTG thread. Have a nice day everyone.

Good(?) morning all
Ha, if I were opening MC I'd have titled it "Irritations on Monday". Every little thing is going wrong today and there's just too many to tell you of.
We did have a nice time over our weekend, cooked way too much food and got to catch enough fish for 3 meals for ourselves. Silly Shooter watched Ron throw out his bobber many many times and finally the temptation to retrieve it got to be too much--yep, he launched himself and swam after it. Ron called him back and Shoo circled and circled the boat trying to figure out how to get back in. Finally he got where Ron could grab him and haul him aboard. Oh and then he proceeded to shower us with all the lake water he'd acquired during his adventure. It was almost as bad as if I'd jumped in with him! Other than that he wasn't a bad camping dog and didn't repeat his stunt on the next day's fishing.
Angel still leaks around the window I fixed but Ron said it was because I didn't have it closed all the way. Don't think so. She also leaked around the rear kitchen window (this is new) and apparently her tank sensors don't work either. But she was big enough for the 3 of us and we still enjoyed a couple of nice campfires before getting rained out.Her awning is in fairly good shape and was a lifesaver for cooking outside during the rain. There were no available electric sites (everyone get there early and ties up the nice sites 2 weeks before any holiday, then just leaves their rvs there unattended-GRRRRR!!!) so I had asked our SIL if we could park at their permanent site and use their electric; she said we could.
I have some cute pictures of Ron and Shooter but they are on my phone because I forgot the camera. I don't know how to get them onto Photobucket to post them here, sorry.
Son will find out today if his building can be saved or destroyed. If it can be rebuilt he will do so, if not I don't know what he will do. On Saturday we went over to his house to help him organize and store things he had brought home from the building. Then he and Ron went back to pick up some more stuff and I stayed and cleaned his house for him and watched his dogs. He has 2 Labs, Sadie and Miley (whom he just got recently) and after Miley met me she decided she was "my" dog and followed me everywhere. Of course, his Sadie had to sit on my lap when I sat down. She only weighs 86 lbs.! LOL Good thing I'm a dog person!
Take care everyone,
Kathy

Morning all,
Donna, you and Cheryl both opened MC this morning and I posted there but will add a note here too.
Seems you and I are in the same boat, Donna, my Angel has a few leaks of her own.
Sue, I chimed in with what dates fit my schedule on your post for the Shipshewana gtg.
Take care,
Kathy

good morning ladies,
winding down my days here and moving on soon. Laundry is all done up, and I've studied the map for other adventure
possibilities on the way north. Its quite possible I might leave a day early and stop at Shasta Lake for an overnight.
Got home a tad late last night and the back yard gate was wide open, Maggie sitting on the front porch waiting and
watching for me. I was shocked but so relieved she didn't go off looking for me.
Ya'll have a great day and be safe.

I was so confused by the title today, I thought it was Sunday! This whole not working thing is messing up my sence of time and date.

So we got merged, now I'm doubly confused!
Hope everyone has a wonderful monday.
Ginger, your Shoo story cracked me up, he just wanted to chase that bobber so bad!

Good Morning,
Happy to have news of Irmi, Carolb! Sorry about the RV leaks - they are a pain! Guess we are never happy with the weather - right now I'm grateful to wake up with temps less than 70 degrees because the rest of the day is hot. Must say it seems strange for the hot temps in the Northwest!
Family reunion is over. My 11 year old granddaughter found a playmate - a 5 year old 3rd cousin so she stayed the entire time! The boy was a bit of a free spirit so I think parents and grands were appreciative of someone to keep him entertained! 4 brothers and their young families came Saturday. There were immediate requests for Slingshot rides - including little girls still needing booster seats! Sure an ice breaker when the families are not someone you see often or know very well.
I'll move back to my daughter's today. Planned to leave next week, but sounds like she'll need me the 13th. Trying to find a place I can go regroup for a week or so before I move on.
I have full hookups here so chores to do!
Enjoying Tina and Liz's blogs. Especially watching Liz's because LeRoy and I have talked about doing that trip next year.
Safe travels to all on the road!

Not really a bad problems to have Mickie
Kathy - if you have Google Drive, you pics can be saved to Drive & then uploaded to Photobucket ~ or just email them to yourself. Would love to see the pics. Sorry about the leaks in AG, but at least they all sound fixable, including the tank sensors.

Good day ladies. I didn't make it before noon but close.
I am doing the Happy Dance here. .... The deck is stained and it only took me 2 hours to get it done. No rain and nice and breezy for the next 20 hours, it will be good.
Insurance adjuster did his thing yesterday so now I await a decision from the Ins. Co.
Sorry to hear some of you are having issues with your rv's. It's never easy is it?
Need to get a move on and do some yard work before the rains return tomorrow.
Have a great day everyone and safe travels to all.
Brenda

Another HOT day in Northern California! No clouds. Predicted to be close to 100 today and possibly 108 to 110 tuesday and Wednesday ! And triple digits through at least Thursday! Ugh. I would not mind so much if we could stay in but we have to be at the VA across town tomorrow then head down to UCD hospital for a biopsy on the mysterious lymph node In right side of hubbies neck before home hopefully by noon. Do not look forward to being out in the heat even with AC in car there is the walking and parking and car in sun.
Otherwise we have a quiet week here doing indoor projects. Have a safe week all and hopefully leaks get fixed and travels are pleasant. So wish we could make the Oregon GTG but another time.
Velda

Micki, you should have seen him getting ready to retrieve the tree stump sticking out of the water. We quickly put the kibosh on that!
No Google Drive that I can see on my phone. Also, can't email them to my personal account, needs to be to an different account not associated with my phone. Can upload to FB, tho.

I remember our youngest Border Collie, she would try to retrieve logs at the lake, she's grab ahold of a small protruding branch and pull for all she was worth, it was hysterical!!

Late post for morning, but just got back from glass-bottom boat tour of shipwrecks and islands, and lunch with another full-time couple. Great time here in Tobermory--cool but beautiful and sunny skies, probably much like the weather Sue is having west of here in Michigan. (Tobermory is also just north of the 45th parallel and about 100 miles due east of Gaylord, and just a bit farther north.)
Many, many years ago, one of our cottage neighbors had an English setter that used to try to retrieve those firecrackers that screech and slide along the ground just before they blow up. Had to keep her in the cottage during fireworks, for obvious reasons!
And my mean sons used to fool my schnauzer by throwing rocks for her to retrieve out of the Lake Huron instead of sticks. She was not a big dog, but when they threw a rock, she would go after it, dive down in a couple of feet of water, and bring up a rock to bring back to them. It was almost always a different rock, but at least she brought back something.
Poor dog!
