Good morning Everybody, if this post goes through, I'll be opening Morning Coffee.
I actually was posting a response to Judy's wonderful blog posting yesterday when I rec'd a call from Carolb and DianeDic that they were in East Hartford and ready to head to Cape Cod. That's where we are on this rainy morning. Coffee is ready, but you'll have to wait for omelets. They'll be later.
Judyb, I think the flowers are wild columbine, Aquilesia (sp?) Canadenses. Enjoy today. Peggy

Morning Peggy, Donna and all,
Peggy good for you for opening MC, and I take it you are having breakfast with some good WRV pals! Awesome!
Donna, I'm in the same boat. I am now completely convinced I will NEVER want to live in a tropical climate. Feels like humidity is over 300%!
DH's new bp medicine is not working for him. His bp fluctuates too much and he says he's had a headache nearly every day. I will call Dr. this a.m. and get him back on his old meds today.
Calls to make and checkbooks to balance this morning ugh I hate doing it so I better get started.
Take care all,
Kathy

Good Morning, I'm with you Kathy no tropical climates for me either, we get enough humidity here in IL. We have been having daily showers, some pretty heavy, for a week and it can stop anytime!! Sorry your DH can't get his BP regulated. Peggy happy to see you open MC with news you have meet up with Carolb and friend. Donna is your house on the market or are you still working on it? If you are still getting it ready could you just go ahead and list it and let the new owners fix as they want. I have yoga at 11:00 today, hope they have the AC going strong.

Good Morning Everyone, Maggie and I, have started our adventure for the summer. Its so much nicer in the RV with her, as she is almost blind and in the big house, I would miss her and find her standing at a wall, she didn't know where to go, in here I see her and she doesn't get into those situations. She's knows we're in a CG and in a Cg we do nice walks and to see her she seems another dog and you'd have no idea she is deaf or almost blind with an ailing heart. She's had the heart condition for years, its just gotten worse. I've been concerned about this trip for her, but she loves traveling, we've done so much since we started by ourselves years ago and so we are off. We'll enjoy each day of it we can , but I have no illusions of what the close future holds, for now, I can help her feel like everything is fine with some loving pats and holding as I've always done and take her for walks in new places where the smells are interesting and different . As long as she is in no pain, which the vet said she isn't, we shall travel on, he told me I would know and there are vets everywhere.

Now on to a happier note, we are in a CG we've stayed at before, and the guy remembered me as I stopped here on my way to Alaska. I was so surprised he remembered me, but then this morning I remembered I left him and his wife a loaf of Pumpkin Bread, his tummy remembered me :D . They're really nice people and I'd planned to stay at least two nights, they have done some improvements, its a small CG and this time they are full except for 3 spots that have people coming in this week end. I'm really happy for them, but thinking I probably will have to make reservations from now on. Decided to stay here two days, in no hurry, have had to change my plans a little because of the heat, need A/C, as temp is in mid 90's but heat index way over 100. That is not good !! I can't do that high temps, makes me crabby   Maggie has to have A/C. So no Trace this time and I love that area.

Well Maggie is telling me she needs another walk before it gets to hot out there, the one at daylight was awhile ago. Besides I need to get moving. I looked at your blog post JudyJB and loved it, I've been there but you showed areas we didn't do while there, I wanted to rent a bike or take a buggy ride but was outnumbered by others, so missed a lot. I'll go with you, Liz  you're one I know I'll see everything with. :D

Have a nice day everyone, stay cool, dry or whatever it takes to make your day better,
Above all stay safe,
CArol :)

Good morning all. Donna, I understand what you're saying....this weather is crazy! Rain, rain and more rain! PA is really getting hit again this summer! Kathy, hope you can get DH bp under control. Peggy, great that you are meeting up with Carolb and Diane. Sounds like a good time!

I managed to mow the lawn the other day and looks like it needs it again! Looks like Friday is the next dry day we might have so will need to plan accordingly. The renting of goats seems like a good idea unless they don't like rain either! My poor dog has been a mess with all the thunder and pounding rain! Last night he started shaking and the whole bed was vibrating! And of course he was laying right against me so I was vibrating too! Could have done without that in the middle of the night!

Been enjoying reading about everyone's travels! Some really fun adventures! I need to get a bunch of stuff done today so will finish my coffee and get to it. Have a wonderful day and stay safe. (And dry!)

Good morning ladies
A bit cold this so I stayed bundled up in bed as long as I could.
I should have turned on the heater but I didn't. It will warm up
soon as the sun comes over the rooftops.
Gonna do personal errands today, check the oil, gas up and buy dog
food. Its hard to keep Maggie on track with her meals as she keeps
finding snacks from the kids and the big kitty bowl with meow mix.
About time to go in for a coffee refill. Ya'll have a great day and be safe.

Good morning, all. This is only my second post, besides my introduction. I'm in 'sunny' Cape Cod with Carol B and Peggy. It's going to take awhile for me to get used to this forum and "meet" everyone. I hope you all have a blessed day.

Welcome to MC, Diane. Have a great time with Carolb and Peggy. It's a good time to visit Cape Cod before the summer crowds get bad.

It's sunny and breezy this morning. I'm sure there is some rain out there somewhere but I can't get the local radar on my Directv box. It's the one I took with me this weekend so maybe it needs to be reset. Harold is worried about the storm in the Gulf and it hasn't been named yet. They are saying it will go into Texas but you never know. He has already called for a place for his horse. I sure hope we don't have to start moving things.

They are suppose to fix our phone sometime today so I won't be going anywhere until they show up. I don't know why one line would go out and not the other.

Guess I better unload my motorhome and catch up on the laundry in case we have to load up again.

Martha

Just got caught up on your blog, Donna. That's too bad about the housing market in your town right now. Hopefully that will turn around soon and you can sell the house.

I'll throw my complaints in about heat, rain and humidity! Heat and humidity I expected in Kansas - the rain, not so much. Actually cooler today at least. I can't read the clouds well enough so I put off going anywhere. Of course, then it doesn't rain until evening!!

All the going with daughter and grands has slacked off the past few days so I have been trying to get a few things done.

I don't have any idea of dates yet, but thinking of trying to catch up with some of you in Illinois next month or possibly early August. I'll be heading to LeRoy's in Wisconsin at some point, but haven't decided just when.

Enjoying all the travel reports!

Good morning all, well it is still Monday anyway. My truck would not open with the clicker, so bought a new battery for the kicker. Didn't work. Then discovered the truck battery we dead. Seeing as I store the truck in a KOA canpground, one of the men there came and helped me with the starter cables. I let the truck run for 30 minutes before turning it off. We will see tomorrow if it starts OK. Tomorrow is "check the tires day. Wednesday is turn on the refrigerator day.
I try to take things down to the camper, a little at a time. That way I don't have so much to do on the day I leave.

Why oh why can't CA have some of that rain?
