Good Mornjing,

Sitting here eating bowl of cereal watching sunshine come up.been beautiful weather here this week. Couple rain storms, but in the evening, so mo big deal there. Little shower one afternoon to.

Molly and I will be leaving later to head a bit south to Victor,ID our base for some exploration of Grand Teton National Park before turning our wheels back eastward. Sure hate to leave this wonderful campground. Just hung around here yesterday cleaning inside and washing outside if this trailer, doing laundry. Did take doggie bedding and rugs to laundromat though. As tok a walk to the Grizzly/Wolf Discovery Center, then into town for some dinner. Had the best Lasagna I've eaten in a long time. Highly recommend Pete's Pizza and Pasta if you are in West Yellowstone.

Ava, hope you had fun whale watching. Kathy and Brenda, Forward Ho sounds like you are both making progress. Those traveling are having fun. And I'm going to get moVing myself here. Have a great day everyone.

I am in Aune Osborne Campground in Sault St. Marie, MI, facing the St. Mary's river, which is the main shipping channel between Lake Superior and Lakes Michigan and Huron. Watching the big array of "lakers" and "salties" going past just a few hundred feet from us. Some are headed north through the locks and some have already been through and are headed south. This campground reminds me a lot of the Tom Sawyer campground along the Mississippi where you can see ships go by.

I got up and fixed sausage and pancakes for my grandkids. Kids had already had toast and cereal, but were still hungry. Son had his own cinnamon toast and I had an English muffin. So, now we are just waiting for the rain to stop so we can go into town to look at some gift shops and head through a freighter ship museum. Then tomorrow we head to Tahquamenon Falls and the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum at Whitefish Point on Lake Superior. Grandkids are really getting a Michigan waterways tour.

Breakfast is put away, but I did partially update my blog last night if you want to see some gorgeous photos of lilacs on Mackinac Island.

Judy - Wonderful pictures -- I have lived in Wi for many, many years and have never made it to that area. Maybe this coming year! The pink flower looked like a "Bleeding Heart"
I know your grandkids are probably have a wonderful time , what a treat for them.

Good morning :D
The whale tour was awesome, will do a post with pictures. Have really decided I have to invest in a good camera, so
thats on the shopping list for fall.
Its only the middle of June and it feels like June should be over, I'm so looking forward to moving on but my budget
needs to stay on track or I'll not have the funds to make it back home. Course I know my family wouldn't let me
be stranded cause that would mean someone would have to feed the cat forever.
About time to go in the house for a coffee refill, ya'll have a great day and be safe.

Sue - glad you enjoyed Yellowstone - so much to see there.
Judy, thanks for sharing those great pictures of Makinac island. So gorgeous ,clean and quiet there. Somehow, we did walk thru the lobby of the Grand Hotel and have some neat pictures of my sisters and I sitting on those expansive steps outside.

I concur with gypsyrose1126....I too think they are bleeding hearts.
I love, love, love lilacs! When driving down a street, if there are lilacs in bloom, and, no one is around, I stop and pick a bloom for the rig! Don't tell anyone..
Loved your pictures Judy. Thanks, lyn

I have never missed the house I sold in 1997 or the condo I sold in 2012, but I DO miss my lilac bush in Michigan!

I can get a lily of the valley fix at my son's house in Ohio because the house he bought has a huge bed of them, but no lilacs. I don't think people plant them very often anymore.

I got back from Mississippi about 5:30. Boy am I pooped. It rained off and on all the way home and the wind was strong. I got soaked this morning dumping my tanks and unhooking. I had to change my clothes and shoes. But my hair is another story.

Our phone line is down but the computer line is working. I sure don't want to have to call the phone company. I'll see if I can report it online but that didn't work the last time I tried that. It's always something. At least I made a trip with no problems with my motorhome.

wow I remembered my password!!!
looked at Judy's pictures great pictures...would love to see that
area....to bad that the Grand Hotel has priced it's self out of normal people going
the flower I kinda think is a columbine or a relative of it...look it up and see what
you think...not sure if they grow in that area and i couldn't magnify the picture enough
to really see it well but that is my first thought...just a thought
