Morning Carolb and all,

Carol, you sound so relaxed and enjoying your travels and visits. I'm chomping at the bit to get on the road too. You know you are welcome back here anytime you are in MI.

Sinice I have a cold and it was rainy yesterday, worked on my trip routing. Have going and coming set, although coming could change if the wanderlust in me decides. Reservations in for West Yellowstone and Victor and am sending deposit check off to Rock Canyon RV Park in Livingston, MT today. Those are going to be the only set reservations. Rest will get as I go along. No time schedule other than those three. Set enough days in trip to account for bad weather, delays, maybe an extra night someplace etc. This has been fun planning.

Not much on agenda today. Need to run to store. Not sure about going to Good Friday service or not. Depends on how I feel. Don't want to give anybody my cold. Y'all have a nice day and enjoyable travels if you are on road.

Just a quick good morning to all but mainly need to get message to Carolb.

If you can stay put another day, it would be safer as some NASTY weather forecast here later today:

Issued by The National Weather Service
Huntsville, AL
Fri, Apr 3, 5:45 am CDT
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED ACROSS NORTHWEST ALABAMA LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND ACROSS THE ENTIRE REGION THIS EVENING AS A STRONG COLD FRONT MOVES THROUGH THE AREA. THE PRIMARY THREATS TODAY WILL BE LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WIND GUSTS UP TO 70 MPH. A BRIEF TORNADO IS ALSO POSSIBLE WITH ANY STORMS THAT DEVELOP AHEAD OF THE COLD FRONT. RESIDENTS OF THE TENNESSEE VALLEY SHOULD REVIEW THEIR SEVERE WEATHER PLANS TO PREPARE FOR THE SEVERE WEATHER THREAT LATER TODAY.

good morning ladies,
day off today and gonna have really nice weather. Nothing big planned for today. So fun to watch you sisters as you make your way
across the country and do your checkins. Carolb, was gonna call you last evening but figured with the time difference you were probably sleeping. The new neighbors finally moved out yesterday, its a relief to have them gone, they were very rude. They bought a park model
and moved further down with an empty lot on their porch side. No more worries about them crashing into my slide. :o  At one
point I looked out and saw their cargo trailer sided up to my slide with two inches to spare. :o  Had a note all written and ready to
put on their door cause I want to get my shade screens out and install them on the sunny side this weekend. Now, no worries.
Gettin a little hungry so off to get breakfast and do a little more catching up on other internet stuff as I'm on full available date now.
Ya'll have a great day and be safe.

Good Morning, Lots of LOUD storms during the night and again this am. Mitzi was sure she could scare them away by barking and Andy slept on top of DH, Toby just gives an occasional warning bark. Mitzi had her first trip to a groomer yesterday, I think I was more nervous than she was. I've groomed my dogs for at least 25 years but her coat was quickly beyond what I wanted to tackle. Now that the puppy coat is pretty much gone we can start over. They said she was really good and fairly calm. :o Sun is trying to come out so hopefully storms are over for awhile.
I'm wanting to sell my Subaru and get a Toyota Sienna van, I like the Subaru in the snow but dislike the way it handles, it's hard to steer because it's FWD all the time. I feel like there is not much power steering and I don't like having to keep both hands on the wheel all the time. I've had Siennas since 2000 so hard to change but I've had the Subaru for almost a year and still don't like it so I'm shopping. Prices are way too high on new and older ones hold their value so there isn't that much difference. :( I really don't like trading vehicles but then guess no one does.
Guess I should see about starting the day but not really motivated. Take care and enjoy the day.

In Del Norte, Colorado last night, on my way to Taos, New Mexico. i'm wandering around the area until I have to be at a birthday party on April 25th in Nevada. Then I'll wander back to Portland, OR, where I will house sit for my daughter while they are away for 6 weeks in June and July. I really want to spend next winter in a ski town somewhere, rent a little place, but I haven't decided where.

So sorry some of you are in bad weather.....still! You've had more than your share!

Have to run to university salvage today. They had a bunch of those old classroom overhead projectors last week. Yesterday it dawned it dawned on me that if I printed an image as a transparency, I could use one of these projectors to make it wall-sized for a project I want to do this summer. Sometimes I'm slow, but I generally get there in the end! I hope they have a functional projector left. Wish me luck!

Good Morning everyone... cool down here... knew it would not last but it will be back!

We looked at our friend Virginias condo yesterday to get an idea of what they look like... there may be one on the market shortly as the man died and it will have to be sold... it has two bedrooms and two baths... the kitchen, dining and living areas are together... nice but time will tell...

Gave in and called the pain doctor and have his first appointment for monday at noon... I had to take an oxi narcotic pill this morning... first since January...

Take care everyone...
Kathleen or Kathy

Good Morning,

I've been trying to keep up on here, but too lazy to type if laptop isn't on. So happy Carolb is having such great visits, but I'm at Dome Rock (Quartzsite) without her! :( Sue, you will enjoy your trip so much! Kathleen, sorry you are having so much pain. Then there is the trio on the road in Georgia!

Summer travel has begun for me. It has been the busiest winter! A couple outside projects got left until the hot weather got here. The expensive tank monitor I had put in last year had wires that weren't properly done so the fresh water monitor had quit. That meant unloading the camper and taking a bottom panel off! So happy to have it fixed!

I'll be in touch with Sheila later today. I'll be heading toward Walnut Creek, CA to meet my Washington State daughter's family Wednesday for a few days. Thinking a couple short drives to casinos and then a long drive Tuesday.

Wishing you all safe travels and Happy Easter!

I LOVE MY FORUM FAMILY!!!!!!! Blessed to have sisters from coast to coast alerting me of Sarah's post, and humbled that y'all are the angels to my mindlessness! Yep, too relaxed to pay attention to weather, but sure am enjoying the scenery of Mississippi--dogwoods in bloom! :)

Anyway, a special treat--Sarah put me in touch with Wendy! Will hunker down with her in a few hours. I thought ahe lived in TN, so it'll be great to see her again:) So far, weather is just fine.

THANKS TO ALL :) LOVE YOU!!!!!

Glad you got the message about the weather Carolb. Tell Wendy and Pepper hi. Hope the bad weather doesn't get to you all. Right now it looks like it's all moving Northeast but I guess the cold front will move it Southeast.

BJ, Mitzi is like a kid. They are usually better when the parents aren't around. lol Good luck on trading vehicles. That is right up there with things I hate to deal with. I have several long hair cats that need to be groomed. They like to be brushed but not have mats worked on.

I am thinking about going to town but might wait until tomorrow. I'm sure either day will be bad traffic wise. On one of the Facebook groups I belong to someone posted pictures of PJ's or gowns with camper print at Walmart. Hope I remember to check that out.

Unfortunately, not a very "good" Friday for me. Yesterday my sore throat got worse and I had horrible sinus pain and stuffiness. Then last night I developed a cough and in the middle of the night, my chest started rattling and I was wheezing.

So got up early and headed to the urgent care center. They gave me a breathing treatment and prescriptions for antibiotic, cough syrup, and prednisone 6 day dose pack. Breathing treatment helped my wheezing and rattling, and the cough a little bit also, but I really feel wiped out. I managed to get all my groceries at the next door Walmart so I am OK until my company arrives Sunday night. Should be OK by then. In the meantime, I am slowing down on the cleaning and just sitting and watching TV. Might even take a nap today, which I almost never do.

I've been really lucky in staying healthy, but I guess it was bound to catch up with me eventually. Glad I only have to drive 25 miles tomorrow.

Just checking back in. Since Birmingham's forecast was not as bad as mine, diverted Carolb to Wendy for the day/night. In Nicky was in better health, I would have gone to Wendy's to ride out storm with them. However I might still get to see both as tomorrow's weather looks good and they may head this way.
So far weather here not bad but it is very windy (25mph gusts, 20 steady) and the pollen is almost unbearable.
I've got both cell phone and iPad on chargers just in case.
Will check in again later
