Morning,

Gonna be a really nice sunny and mild day here. Gonna be a terrific day not only because of weather, but also will be having lunch with Louise (HavingFunNow) today. What could be more terrific than a GTG with a forum sister. Can you tell I'm excited. :D

So just going to ryn along here. The fur kid is having one of her energy mornings, so need to go entertain. Have a wonderful day all.

Good morning my forum friends. I had a wonderful surprise. Carolb called and we chatted. So great to hear from her. I know she checks in here regularly. I invited her to come park in the driveway of our new house. I hope she decides to take the detour so we can visit again. HINT. HINt. (Carolb, I can meet you some where for lunch if you don't want to come this far north!!) I somehow lost interest in social stuff (online and off) after loosing several dear people and my Tyler. My kids and grands and extended family are on FB, so I check it regularly.

DH still has antibiotic spacers and rods. Been almost a year without a knee. Big day is coming. April 7 they will attempt to install a new knee replacement if the frozen section taken during surgery is clear. If not clear, more antibiotic spacers and I.V. Antibiotics. Start from scratch. During this long haul of "down time" we down sized. 3 acres down to 10,000 sq ft lot. 5 bdrms, barm & out bldgs & pool down to small 3 bdrm. The new subdivision allows RV parking in driveway. We just poured a 85 foot driveway addition for RED. We have used RED a lot because we started going to the weekend rallys of local FMCA club and Allegro club. I have to do it all; drive, hook/unhook, etc. but I love it. So our little trips bring sunshine to our days and fun between doc visits.

Red, you are missed. I have read and reread your post on rv driving school. Boy do I know how life brings changes. Know you are in my thoughts.

I'm leaving FL in the morning. Looks like part of trip will be a wet one but I cannot put it off any longer. Nicky has gotten worse over past 24 hours; he won't even try to get up any more and did not eat this morning. Did finally get him to eat a little by hand feeding him some chicken breast. Have talked to my vet 3 times and have started him on baby aspirin. Just called in another report but she was out so am waiting to hear from her about whether or not to get him on to local vet, how often to give him aspirin as well as frequency I should try to get him up. Strange thing is that once I lift his rear and get him standing, he has walked for me with just a slight limp. Think I can make it home by Thursday night so I can get him to vet Friday morning.

Oh my Sarah do take it easy and am praying for Nicky... poor fur baby...
Update on son: Chuck is doing very well... he will be moved out of ICU tomorrow... my daughter in law is taking two weeks off work to care for him when he gets out of the hospital... this is such an improvement in her attitude... so glad for that...

Great reading your post, Chris. You are missed!

Sarah, please keep us updated about Nicky. So scary when our babies are hurting in anyway.

Excellent news on your son and daughter-in-law, Kath!

Sarah good luck on the trip home. Is there a reason not to have nicki checked out locally before heading north? There may be something they can start him on that would make him more comfortable. It's only money. If you don't like what they recommend you don't have to follow their plan but waiting three days is scary to me..... :)
