It's Saturday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

It's Saturday

Morning,

Well, it's Saturday, as if you need to be told. Great day for those who are working and have the weekends off. For the rest of us, it's a another day of the week.

Enjoyed reading yesterday's Coffee, see some new posts out there too. Ackcminnie, sorry to hear about the health and MH Issues. Hopefully both will be resolved soon and you can enjoy some travels. Yikes Donna, I think I would stay in my yard and watch the show too. That's a crowd although probably some great music too. O'Sharon, if it's any consolation, it's snowing here too, but just lightly and very wet. Going to be short lived. Typical Mach. Mellissa, hang in there, someday it will be your turn to hit that road. I grew up with parents who had a wandering spirit and I still have it. Sarah, it might be arthritis that NIcky has. Hurts getting up but once he's up, then he's okay. Still joints. Martha, ditto on the basketball. Our CBS station carries those games, When ABC is carrying a golf tournament on the weekends, no local news or weather either sometimes. But on the other hand, with the news now a days, maybe it's better  Carolb, safe travels. Barb, yep, cooler weather is hanging around for a bit. I have a feeling that March is going out like a lion. Seems a storm is forming for next week. Good luck on the Jeep hunt.

I went down to Camping World and got my Passport America membership. Got a good deal too. Had I ordered it online, it would have cost $44. bit Goos Sam members have a deal right now, for $39.95 plus 3 months free. Wish I could have turned in Sarah's number so she would get credit on her renewal but time she told me about that, I had already gotten the membership, although they didn't ask me is anybody referred me. If PA does when they send my stuff, then I will get you number Sarah. Took Molly along for the ride, she is so good in the truck. Also got the confirmation from Teton Valley RV Park in Victor, ID which will be my ba se for the Grand Tetons. So those two important reservatons are set.

Well, I"ve done enough jabbering for this morning. Bacon and eggs are ready for breakfast. Even some eggs for your fur kids f they want some. If Molly doen'st eat them all up first  Have a great Saturday all.

good morning
cpr training this morning, its a 4 hour class and really screws up my Saturday morning but it is what it is. Its part of the job. We have to do it every two year. If everything goes as planned for the next year and a half I won't have to repeat this.
Guess I'll have to do my laundry in the afternoon and fight the crowd.
Ya'll have a great day and be safe.

Good morning Sue and all to follow into the coffee shop,
Sun is shining, snow is melting fast and things are looking up!!

Going to drift miss Minerva back from under the rv carport and continue the work on her. Dh has all the rotten luan removed and the UPS man has been delivering all the necessities ordered all week. Clamps, epoxy, doublestick tapes, everything needed to get her fixed up. I have a lot of faith in dh because I haven't seen much that he can't fix! I wish I could post pictures because it is quite the task. We learned so much from the internet and a few phone calls to Winnebago.

I am so enjoying reading of all your travels, can't wait till we get out there. We have the summers off so it gives us a little "taste of the adventure". retirement is in 2 1/2 yrs .

We joined passport america too and love love love it! Used it extensively when we travelled out to utah last year. Once I joined and they started emailing me all the time, they offered a 5 yr. deal that was something like $100 so I took it.

Campgrounds around here are opening up with " clean up weekend" next week. Work on Saturday from 9-3 with free lunch provided and your stay is free for the night.

Better get moving, have a blessed day all and enjoy!

Happy Saturday morning! Well, snow is over...for now! My sidewalk actually stayed clear for the most part yesterday so didn't bother shoveling! It's supposed to be warmer today so probably the rest will melt on its own! Carolb, the driveway should be clear when you get here! Naw, make that it will be! I'll make sure of that! Beth, I tried to link with your blog page and it said the account was suspended. Wondered if anyone else had that happen. Ackcminnie, hope you start feeling better and can get your rv fixed. I think part of uncovering Lola is wondering what I'll find the winter has done to her! I started her the other day and checked around and didn't see any leaks but will need to check the seams and such when she finally gets uncovered. All part of it, I guess!

Spent some time at my sister in law's yesterday playing with the new puppy! She loves the snow! Apparently she had never been out in it so it was a first for her! She's so tiny, I think my guys were bigger when they were born then she is at 9 weeks! She has stolen our hearts!

Barbie, hope your search is successful today! You just may be driving home in a new vehicle! Melissa, glad you're driving again and you are on the mend! Fingers crossed for your Easter week end! Sue, sounds like your trip is starting to firm up. You and Molly should have a great time exploring!

Not much on the agenda today. I think I may head over to visit the sons today and attempt Wal Mart. I need to get together with my DIL to change my cell contract from being on theirs to my own contract. Since we share data I'm always afraid of using it and making it go over. Figure I will use it more when I have a better idea of my own usage. Plus I think I will upgrade to an iPhone 6. I had lots of points from my one card and ordered some gift cards for Best Buy so a new phone won't cost me very much. I like that!

As usual, coffee is on if you want a cup! Have a great day and those in the sun, enjoy! We may see it off and on today but not holding out much hope for it!

Good Morning,

Don't know what caused it, but my whole rig just shook! Didn't really feel like an earthquake, but there have just been a couple small ones in So Cal.

A lot going on with many of you - new rigs, wishing for spring, travels now and future plans, health concerns both human and fur kids. Donna, I imagine the music weekend is much like they have in Kansas every June at the State Park I used to stay at. They can get pretty wild. I just stayed in my rig. Only bad thing was so many people using the cell phones that Verizon couldn't handle the volume!

Fun day yesterday as a classmate and I took the SS to Surprise for a Seattle-Texas ballgame! A 2 hour drive each way so added some miles. Came back to meet her hubby and other friends for dinner.

Planned ride today was canceled due to too much water in the rivers we need to cross. Guess I get to do more organizing.

Safe travels to all on the road!

The RV Show is in Lafayette today. There is a big area of rain coming from Texas so I don't know that I could beat it. They usually don't have much I want to look at anyway. My son said he might come work on my motorhome today so kind of waiting around for him. I have 2 bags of mulch to put around my roses but that's not getting done very fast. At least I got them pruned.

CarolB, you might need a boat to get across Texas.

Guess I better go get the bag of cat food out of the car. If the bowl isn't full they look at me like they might starve.

I joined Passport America a couple of years ago then they sent me a multi year renewal that was a pretty good deal. Shortly afterwards they sent me an offer on a lifetime membership for around $300 and credited the unused of my multiyear. Figured it was lifetime for the price of 8 years. I've pretty much made that back already. Included was a Lifetime membership for Freedom Resorts & Recreation Adventures with basically 25% and 20% discounts respectively. Golf courses and the likes. Not really worried about that part, but it was included and who knows.

We if all goes well I hope to pick up the camper from service next week and scratch my itch ;) The pool and hot tub are sounding good. Just have to check with the doctor about the hot tub.

Chalet05: Back in the early 80's I was having diner with my brother in the San Diego Holiday Inn on the top floor (20th floor or something like that). They had been having tremors during the day. It was pretty spooky to watch the tops of the building move toward and then away from each other and the floor vibrated.

Have a great day, back to sipping my coffee :D

Went to look at one of the Jeeps but the sales guy didn't seem to think a smaller used car lot like his could handle financing a loan with an upside-down trade-in, so I left. Went to see my sales guy where I bought my current Jeep. He gave me better (and more encouraging) info and some options to think about (ie; leasing, refinancing, etc).

Went home and found another Jeep Cherokee on line that has everything I am looking for and in my price range. I am going to look at it on Monday and see if they can get me into that without any problems with my trade-in issues. I already talked to that dealer about it and they think it won't be a problem. We'll see...

I did come home with a desk! Stopped at Good Will and found a little desk for $15 that I need for a sewing table. It came with a topper with shelves, so when I got it home, I removed that piece since I have no use for it. The desk will work perfect for me!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Good luck on the Jeep, Barbie and congrats on finding a steal for a desk.
