Morning all,

Gues Donna must be sleeping in this morning. Wanted to do that too, but Miss Molly had other ideas   Today is the last official day of winter, spring arrives tomorrow. At least on the calendar.

Income tax day for me this morning. Am still awaiting a form which is to be mailed next week, but we are getting things set and when form arrives, just need to drop it off. Nothing else on agenda today.

Donna, did you get to spend time with the craft ladies? Barb, saw your suggestion about LaCrosse. Will keep you abreast of my plans. Will probably be going through there on way back as well. Received confirmation from Grizzly RV park yesterday. Now working on reservations for Tetons. Will decide between Teton Valley and Coulter Bay RV park. I'm leaning toward Coulter Bay as Teton Valley sites look really tight and Coulter Bay is near road I need to take to start my route back east.
And it's near water :)

Waffles and sausage here this morning, help yourself. And have a wonderful day :)

Mornin' Sue and all that follow ~~~
Nice plans you're making there for your summer travels Sue. If you do decide to take I-80 home, I'm about 5 minutes off of 80 & I-55. Or if you decide to stop at one of the many state parks on the way home on I-80, let me know, because I WILL have a TT and could join you for an night or so.

Well tomorrow is the big day. Going to Rockford with BIL to pick-up Colt. :D Orientation first for about 1 hour. Bought a Go Pro on sale so I could tape it because you know the brain is not going to remember everything thru the excitement. Told BIL if there are high winds, he's driving  . Don't want to wreck Colt on pick-up day. Got that little back-up camera from Amazon. NIfty little thing and really strong magnet. Kept sticking where I didn't want it to.

Busy week this week. Monday night took Mom to doctor which led to ambulance ride and 2 night hospital stay. She suffers from high blood pressure that they just can't seem to get down, but Monday heart rate was 40 (should be 60-100 I think) and BP was 102/?. Stupid medicare. Doctor had to make sure "protocol" was met for admittance to hospital and it had to be by ambulance because if I drove her in, they would only have checked her out and released her. Then pick-up day yesterday, they didn't want to release her because her BP now went sky high again. So the madder she got (because she wanted to go home), the higher it went. Finally after 2 more pills and a nap, it went down so they did let her go. Hopefully things will remain OK for now, but she's a stubborn one so water, pills and diet are always her undoing.

Have a good day everyone and if you're on the road, stay safe. Oh, I suggest staying off of 39-51 and I-80 tomorrow, COLT IS COMING HOME!! and who knows how my first drive will be :P

Good morning all! Spring starts tomorrow and we're predicted to get 3-5" of snow! Dang, winter just won't let go! At least it probably won't stick around for long, temps in the 40s Saturday with sun. Guess I should be glad I haven't uncovered Lola yet! Sue, your trip sounds like it's really coming together! What fun it'll be! And Cheryl, the Colt comes home! I love your idea to tape the walk thru. I thought I'd remember all that stuff with my walk thru then promptly forgot half of it! Glad I at least took some notes!

Well, I guess I'm an aunt again....a puppy aunt! My sister in law adopted an 8 week old chihuahua- silky mix puppy the other day. She is so little! And so cute! Something about puppies! She's going to be one spoiled baby! We'll introduce her to my guys when she gets a little bigger and gets her feet under her better!

Busy day today, brother in law and his wife coming to visit. Sometime this afternoon so will go over to SiL's to visit for awhile. Plus I need to call the guy about putting in my new door. Had a message yesterday that it is in and ready for pick up. Since it's an outside door we'll shoot for a day that is a little warmer so I'm not heating the outdoors! He's going to "rebuild" the frame so I was able to order a standard size rather then special order a different size. Saving me a bunch of money! I liked that! Amazing what just a couple of inches can do to the price.

Anita, loved the pics of the desert. Not so much the video of the snake! :o Your lots braver then I am! Way to close for me! Hope everyone has a good day! If you're on the road, stay safe!

Good morning on this last day of winter! Cool and cloudy here. No buds or green grass yet since we had very little snow all winter and no rain so far.

The doctor removed my dad's feeding tube yesterday! Yay! Finally! One less thing for my dad to deal with now.

Sue, I just need two weeks notice on the Lacrosse stay so I can get the time off of work.

Donna, glad you are finally feeling better physically. Getting out and doing activities with others will help you feel better mentally too. I know how you feel "stuck" with your dad. It is frustrating at times.

Heading off to work soon here. Have a good day! :D

Rainy here in the Arizona mountains. But that didn't stop Carolb and I from doing a long moderate to strenuous hike yesterday. She left before I got out this morning. Hope she's still talking to me :) It actually was a glorious hike - but my old knee injury kicked in the last couple miles and I sent her ahead while I hobbled slowly that time. I didn't want it to lock up - so slow was the game plan, and it worked. It hasn't kicked in for over 12 years! That said, I'd do it all over again. This place is just so spectacular and a big, big THANK YOU to Carol for taking this hike with me.

I'll move a couple pics to photobucket and do a post in the general room.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Morning gone and it has been a busy one.

I made the yoga class this AM and was surprised that I was able to do most of the exercises - tho the instructor may have gone an easier than normal route since I was new - not sure.
Then Irmi and Steve took me over to dealer where I had driven the Forrest River last month. I made them a counter offer and thought for a little while deal might go thru. However it did not. A mix of both disappointment and relief on my part. Guess it just wasn't meant to be. We each left with a new rocker however - they were on sale and very comfortable. Plus we got a free hot dog and drink for lunch as dealer was having Open House starting today. At least it wasn't a totally wasted trip (only about 5 miles from campground).

I will be leaving here in the morning. Moving up to McIntosh to spend a few days with Liz and Nan before heading home to deal with taxes. Sure has been a fast two months in FL.
Have a good day.

Sorry it didn't work out, Sarah! You needed to have LeRoy with you - I have sat through his negotiations for a new truck and the new RZR - he really sticks to his guns and gets them almost to where he wants them!

Rain in Arizona so an unplanned day at home.
