GTG Wednesday

Morning all,
The day for the start of the Hardee Lakes GTG in FL has arrived for those who have been awaiting it. That park is going to be busy with folks arriving from different points. Hope the fog clears so you can get there.
Cloudy and about -8 here this morning. About 3 inches of fresh snow awaits me out there, but will get to it later. Miss Molly has already had her romp through her snow trails to make sure they stay clear. She's her own self made snowpacker
Yes Irmi, this winter has been cold, but more in Feb. than the rest of the winter. Dec. and Jan were actually above normal. But Feb. is on a pace to be the coldest ever recorded here where I am am. The average temp for the month so far is 1.6 degrees. Being this is a highest elevation area in northern lower Michigan (1,343 ft.) it does have hard winters. But I sure wouldn't trade the spring, summer, fall and the beauty that surrounds me for anything. I am getting a bit weary of this cold though, however we are on the downhill side of winter now, so it will start to moderate before long. Who knows, maybe next winter I might head south for a little break Martha, hope you get the septic system figured out. That 50 ft. rule applies here too. Beth, great job on getting all the campers in. Nice feeling when you know you have made their ay and their trip hopefully.
Well, sun is appearing, Miss Molly desires my attention and I need to get a move on here anyway. Have a nice day everyone. Drive carefully those heading to the GTG.
