Good morning everyone...lot of rain this morning I was hoping to see the trail from the launch
but I didn't work out that way....the good news is I'm feeling better and heading over to Wickham campground
for two days..if anyone is in the vicinity please come on down come on over they had quite a few sites

Good morning, Is everyone sleeping in this rainy morning? I was waiting for my friend to come by to go shopping and noticed I had a message on my phone saying she was sick. I stayed in yesterday so since I'm all dressed and ready guess I'll go by myself. If I don't force myself I'll procrastinate until Christmas Eve to buy presents.
Glad you are feeling better Donna. Enjoy your stay at Wickham I hope someone can join you.

Not morning here anymore so guess I'm really late. Just not moving very fast today! It's another rainy day plus the addition of ice. I'm supposed to go to my grandson's birthday party this evening but think it'll be a last minute decision as to if I go or not. Kathleen, it is fun trying different coffees! I've been getting mine from Sam's Club...80 k-cups for about $32. I like their brand of Columbian. Donna, glad you're feeling better. Have fun on your getaway. Wondering if Carolb left today to head for warmer climates. Need to get something done around here so be safe and have a good rest of the day.

Spent most of yesterday at the RV dealer. They had to order a few things for me, so I took off today. I'm at a real rv park, the escapees one in Benson. They have a special (has to be your first time here) of a week for $50 plus electric. Can't beat that and lots to do in the area. So I moved this morning. It's now afternoon and after walking Peaches I'm afraid I'll be a bum. They also have cable tv. Uhoh lol. Free WiFi in the clubhouse. My site is across from it and the Wi-Fi reaches, so no using my bandwidth this week, either.

So glad CArol got her license this morning. Yeah!

Oh, I also discovered a 2nd cousin! I rarely accept friend requests on FB, unless I know the person from somewhere. Several months back one of my cousins friends sent me a request. Even though I didn't know her, I accepted. Yesterday she said something on my cousins page that had me, going, whoa. Turns out we are also related. Neat.

Not morning anymore, but got my new refrig! All I can say is that Lowe's really rocks for customer service! They were in and out and took away the old frig in about 15 min.! And were on time to boot!

Part sun here even though they said showers. I've been to Curves and back. Beth I am thrilled for you that you found a cousin. We had Lowes deliver our last fridge too and they were on time and did a great job. have a good afternoon all.

Took my dad to the doctor this morning to get the results of all the tests they did on him on Monday. No cancer anywhere! The doctor also took care of his bladder issue so that will make my dad feel more comfortable.

I had to pick up a few things near the local mall after I dropped my dad at home. Decided to stop by Dick's Sporting Goods and see when they would be getting more kayaks in stock. Well, I saw the exact one I have been wanting and in the color I want (red) and it was the only one left in that style. It was also on sale yet! Got it for $50 off! Yay! Now, I just have to find someone with a truck to pick it up for me (I don't trust putting it on the roof of my Jeep yet). So now I finally got my kayak! Also have to figure out if there is room for it in my garage or if I should bring it to my dad's house for the winter. It is 10' 4" long.

It's really gonna be a long winter now!!!

I moved from Tucson to Benson today - going to play here and around this area for a week or so. Then I'll need to head back to Tucson - whenever the dealer calls that the couple parts ordered are in.

This kayak should be plenty big enough and sturdy, unlike that little sit-on kayak I bought last spring. Got great 5 star reviews! Really wasn't expecting to find one today so that was a very pleasant surprise!

Looks really fun Barbara. After all this kayak talk and all the photos various people have shared, it makes me think I might like using a kayak in a lake or other quiet place. I guess because we have rivers near here with rapids and someone gets hurt almost every summer, I did not realize there are kayaks used in placid waters. Thanks for enlightening me !
