Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Sunday, last of Nov

Postby carolb » Sun Nov 30, 2014 9:16 am

G'morning all :)

Had to play catch-up this a.m.--been lax about even reading posts the past couple days. Ava, hope the last leg of your "quick trip" is a safe one. Irmi, Liz & CArol, have a great gtg at church this a.m.

Sounds like a good T-day was had by all. Now, all the excitement of C-mas. I'll be in the desert for that! Having a great time with bro, especially since the weather has been absolutely wonderful--in the hi 50s/lo 60s for a couple days now. I've even been doing yard work & cleaned gutters the other day! I love it!!!! SIL has great books, so I've been reading non-stop when I finally sit down.

Catherine, yes, you're on my list if you're available!!! Will be leaving here on Thurs or Fri, so let's talk later this week.

Y'all have a great day & be safe always 8-)

Good Morning!

Carolb, glad to see your post and know your current plan! Hopefully the weather stays good for you.

Ava posted in Campfire that she is home safe and sound!

Another long, rough ride in the desert yesterday. I picked the trail to ride and monsoons did a number on it as well this summer. Trying to find trails we can take 80 year old friends on but no luck so far.

Everyone have a grand day!

Good morning, Carolb, Anita & all who follow,

I think someone left a north window open this morning - felt like we dropped about 10 degrees while I was at Mass this morning - :o supposed to continue dropping all day.

Had a beautiful day yesterday - up to nearly 70! Got the leaves in the yard mulched - might be done with that for this year.

Carolb, please do touch base... I'll be here & would love to have you if you can stand the cold. Got room for you & the poopers inside if you'd like.

Got son, daughter-in-law, granddaughter & her fiance over for Thanksgiving lunch so better get moving.
Hope everyone stays safe & warm,
Catherine

Late Afternoon here in Normal... it was 57 today and tomorrow will be in the deep freeze 27... such is the beginning of a long winter...
Margie invited me to dinner after church... family was there and what a wonderful dinner it was... Margie and John got me a new Keurig! no more strainer coffee for me! and Pete and Shaelyn got me so many lovely smell goods body wash, body cream, perfume, hand cream and the biggest softest fluffiest body (sponge not right) ever... so nice...
Augie was needing back rubs as this was the first time he had seen me since Thanksgiving...
Carolb I really should have let you do the leaves guess I am backward about that kind of thing... you did so much while you were here anyway!! Next year!
I am going to look see if there is a de-caf coffee to use in my Keurig!!
Happy trails everyone...
Kathleen or Kathy

Use today wisely it's all you have; yesterday is a memory; tomorrow a dream... KLW[/b][/color]

Wow! Quiet on here today! I worked all day and just got home.

I saw a Cyber Monday ad for a big discount on the kayak I want, so will be ordering that in the morning on-line and have it shipped to my dad's (free shipping too!) so I don't have to deal with picking it up and tying it to the roof of my Jeep. That makes me nervous! It can sit at my dad's until spring.

Glad to hear Ava made it back home and anxious to hear the details. Sounds like the rest of the travelers are doing well too.

Don't forget to say "Rabbits" after midnight tonight!!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
