Good Morning
Cold here also - way below normal for this time of year.
Not sure which of the items on my "to do" list will get attention today, other than making a pot of soup and paying bills.
No trick or treaters at my house last night but that is not unusual. Think it is too scary to come down the hill/steep driveway to get to the door.
I did remember Rabbits this morning.
Find something fun to do and try to stay warm if you are just about anywhere east of the Mississippi River.

Mornin' Kathleen, Alice, Sarah & all that follow...

Well my week of day trips is over & done with for this time it back to work on Monday  Did a couple more state parks - hot on 1 day and cold on the other. Also, went to Chautauqua & Emiquon nature reserves. Going to update the Interesting Placed thread shortly.

Kathleen - tried calling you on Friday, but got message that your voicemail wasn't set-up. I think I had your new number. Drove right past the exit to your house & wanted to see if you were up for dinner. Maybe next spring  Hope Margie is doing better too. She's a nice lady.

Well off for a boobie flattening today, but one of those necessary evils I think.

Have a good day everyone and if you are on the road - stay safe.

Good Morning All, Rain, rain, rain. Not much, but, the streets are wet, and, I stepped in a puddle while walking Casey. Lots of trash left after the Monster Bash last night across the street. It was really loud this year! Had to close the patio door and the windows. First time in days and days.
The mailers for the candidates are getting ridiculous. I voted a week ago so it is all a waste of money on their part now.
Now that the Cosy Camper is cleaned, I'm ready to go again! Lyn

Good Morning to All - I remembered Rabbits too - It is cloudy and windy here in Vegas today. Not sure what the weather will turn out to be. Guess I could look it up...We are invited to lunch on the lake today with our son and family - they have a boat there. We'll see how the weather is.
Found a fun place yesterday - it is where they do the TV show Counting Cars on History channel. Wow some interesting cars. Wrote about it on the blog. Also got the new foam for my dinette bench cushion - where i sit when working on laptop. So much better - now I don't have to sit on my feet to reach the table. My knees thank me.
Bill has been feeling so much better since we've been here I'm afraid to leave. Heard from our house sitter - it is snowing at home. Big fat flully flakes that are staying on the ground. So don't want to go home that's for sure.
We also went to a new outdoor mall in Vegas on the east side of the Flamingo Hotel - amazing. All kinds of neat stuff there. It is right by the huge ferris wheel too. Will write about it later today and post some of my 120 pictures....
If your are traveling stay safe and if you're being snowed on - light a fire - warm drink and enjoy.

Morning all,

Carol, I had to laugh at the curve sign for the Hoover Dam. Back in the day when you could drive a semi over the dam we use to have to "call the corner" since you needed both lanes to get a semi around the corner. Otherwise we have a crash or at a minimum block traffic until we could get untangled. Counting Cars I've watch from time to time. He's a spin off of Pawn Stars like American Restoration is. It got the name "Counting" because the owner use to play a "Count Dracula" character on a local TV station. Think male version of Elvira. He owns a tattoo parlor in one of the casinos as well.
