Good morning everyone... Another beautiful day here in Melbourne Florida..
Been wondering why I torture myself... Since I've been feeling better Maggie and I have been going Over to Wickham park... We walk around the park and the campgrounds... I so much to want to be camping... So it's fun to walk around Look at all the people camping.. Check out everybody's rigs... I'm torturing myself because I'm not there... I guess I will stay at dads today... I got a ton of material... new material at a yard sale yesterday... I like to wash my material and iron it before making any thing in case it shrinks... so I guess that's what I'll do today and watch my football games.... have a fun filled day and be safe..donna

Good morning ladies :D
coffee certainly tastes good this morning and we had a nice pleasant sit outside with absolute quiet. Thats when I do my
best thinking and planning. Happy the back yard is secure now and I can move on to other projects. Didn't get any laundry done yesterday so guess thats a priority today as I'll have no uniform shirts this week if I don't get to it.
Might even re-arrange the livingroom today but we'll see how that plays out after breakfast.
Ya'll have a great day and be safe.

Ugggghhhh, is it morning already? Just kiddin' been up with the chickens again! Last day for one pup but still have one other set of dogs that I have to feed and let out this afternoon before it goes back to just Hershey.

Second breakfast today was oatmeal and hot chocolate and I shared the oatmeal with Buddy because he asked. Now he's crashed at my feet for a snooze and that looks soooo inviting I might just crawl down there with him. Nope, I have guests arriving for lunch at noon, a football game to watch and I'm going with my friend Vicki to visit Hershey's owner Daun this evening. No time for a nap!

Pretty chilly here this morning but as Kathleen said I think it will be very nice later on.

Got TC all washed and shined up and got all the KS/MO bugs off her nose. Bounce dryer sheets work very well for getting bugs off! Soon she will be tarped up for the winter; I'm so sad. :( Sure wish I could follow some of you down to FL or AZ, but that is not in the cards for many years yet.

Have a grand day everyone,
Kathy

Good Morning to All - been awake for hours but managed to stay in bed till 6:00 - then gave up and got up. Good Mexican Mocha coffee is ready as are some pastries we picked up from the Argentine market her in Las Vegas yesterday. Don't know if the weather here is better for Bill or not. The very low humidity seems to be stuffing both of us up. But he hasn't been sneezing so much.
Surprising to be in such warm weather - last year this time it was quite a bit cooler here. This 1000 Trails park is packed - only a couple of the over 200 spaces are empty. Going to watch NASCAR race today then not sure - have to do laundry and some shopping. Looks like we will end up in Mexico - he is talking more and more about it.

Just another post... Kathy I got another turkey roast a real one this time! My grandson Tim is having shoulder surgery on Wednesday and Margie my daughter is having spinal injections on Thursday... so I plan on making meals Thursday and Friday... from that point on who knows... if anyone is so inclined please pray for them... especially Tim, when they did the MRI last week they immediately scheduled his surgery... he has been in severe pain for several months... His aunt proceeded to tell him about the pain she had when hers was operated on... I told him not to worry they will control the pain with med... he will be in a sling for at least 6 weeks then they will start physical therapy...
He will be missing a great vacation because when they all fly to Washington for his cousins wedding they will go skiing well another year Tim at least he will be at the wedding...

Prayers for Tim and Margie! I really wonder why so many people are like that scaring people going into surgery with their own tales of woe. Does it make them feel better to do so? Argh. I have had to counter many such tales in my career as a nurse. Tell him the formula is: day of surgery is a blur, much sleeping, lots of meds. Day after still lots of meds, usually a pump he can push button to get meds, second day after is worse because they are starting to wean you off the heavy duty stuff, but pills help you deal with it. By third day things will be so much better he will be surprised. Many ortho surgeons will inject at end of surgery a long acting local anesthetic which reduces need for narcotics. And I just learned of a new (past 3 years they said) IV form of Tylenol that is only authorized in OR and Recovery, but if they give you a gram of it, you will need much less narcotics. I wish him well and a speedy recovery. The worst will be the sling for so long but best follow Drs orders as they do that for a reason. As you said skiing can come another time, but who skies at this time of year?
